This name change is just a market test for the viability of cash shop Namingway cards~

To be fair though, and all serious in a joke thread, Pukuni Paku is the wrong name, he was originally called Pukni Pakk. I think he was the moogle at Emerald Moss, just outside Thornmarch, who let you into the battlefield (or one of the trio just outside at least). Pukuni Paku sounds like a bad localisation of his name, プクニ・パク

for 2 bucks a month you can have the old name back ;p

Akainu makes sense because he's an antagonist and Jump wanted playable villains in their game. What doesn't make sense to me is why the hell Hancock is playable. She's not a villain, or a main protagonist, or even a rival. She's just... a love interest for Luffy, who happens to be asexual and have no need for a love interest whatsoever. (Oda pretty much confirmed that Luffy is asexual in an interview, saying that Luffy's true love is the adventure he's on to find the One Piece. He doesn't really care about romance at all.)

I agree, I'm considering quitting because of this change. People with dementia and alzheimers will be greatly effected by this.

I agree with the OP! This totally ruins the game immersion! Is there some place in Eorzea where you can apply for a legal name change? I think not! The lores, it is ruined!

Also, has anyone noticed, despite all the eating and drinking going on in this game, there are no bathrooms! See if you can complete the new turn of coil while doing the pee pee dance! That should be an extreme mode in itself!

Are you sure? I mean...I've seen those Morbol chairs in peoples houses and I just...ugggh *shudders*

Also, once people realize there's a reason the Miqo'te U tribe is in the Sagolii desert...

I think I'm more outraged that the NPC didn't need fantasia to make this change. The double standard is just unacceptable.
