I just get irritated by ignorance. I congratulate someone for a level up in /say as I run through a camp or guild and they are too rude to say /thankyou.
Good manners cost nothing >.>
Remember, I'm not meaning these should be enforced. This would just be a guide to being polite. People will be rude no matter what you tell them to do, but maybe some will start being nicer if they realize that its more fun to be polite and have friends.
I'm not sure if you were agreeing with or diasgreeing but thats what Im saying. Some Xi players were nicer though, like no one in this game would stop to heal you if you were soloing and dying, but someone in XI would stop watch you, see how you're doing and throw a cure if they were appropriate class, maybe even /cheer if you won. But there were elitist assholes in xi, and there were people who were "ME ME ME ME" in xi, and those people switched over to XIV in the end, cause they couldn't handle not being the center of god damn attention lol.
Loki, you have a good point.
This has got to be a troll post.
1) No one cares if you're standing inside of someone else. That person who was giving you a nice crotch-shot is an idiot. It wasn't like he followed you and kept doing it. Ignore him and move on with your life.
2) Why would this matter? "Oh my God, your arm is TOUCHING MEEEEEE, EW EW EW DIGITAL COOTIES!" No.
3) You want me...to walk. Ever. Afraid I'm going to trip and fall or something? There's no player collision, what would walking achieve?
4) This is the one rule that should be followed.
5) I'm not going to /bow, but I will say {Hello!} in chat.
6) Translators are one of the best things FFXI/V has ever added to a game. I use it all the time; it's great for being lazy and not having to write out an entire area/quest.
wow sorry but ur stuck up i would thought that was funny as hell
in ff11 with my taru i always tried to do funny emotes u could even make a taru suck off an elvaan or galka :P
I wasn't trying to be stuck up, I might even say hello to that guy the next time he is on. I don't expect others to follow these guidelines, but they can if they want to. I guess I'm just trying to quantify what the steps are to being a polite gamer.
