Those limit breaks are horribly balanced and I think that's sort of inevitable however you go about trying to make job specific LBs. PLD's first two limit breaks are effectively DPS breaks since a 20% DEF boost is next to worthless (ask any tank about Foresight) and WAR limit breaks are explicitly DPS breaks. In contrast, the SCH LB2 would effectively make the party invincible for its duration.
No, I would rather the current system, thanks. I don't entirely get why people are so unhappy about LBs, it's not like it's this great privilege for the DPS classes! Once or twice in an encounter, you try to find a time when you're safe from AoEs and then press a button...I guess casters get to aim it as well? People spam "lb plz" in the chat even though you're just putting your DoTs up before the LB cast to maximize DPS since you know it can't be one-shotted with the LB. It's supposed to be something you have specifically to help you overcome one mechanic or two as a party and nothing more.

Right because people never use ranged and this is the reason. Oh wait... Incentives to use melee are needed with all the "ranged only" parties that are formed. I'm pretty sure the game developers intend for every group to carry a melee, so why is this a problem?

Like I said, these are just ideas, it's not like I was serious with it.
I'm personally fine with how the LB is set up right now.
