Behest Mini Bosses

The recent letter mentioned repeating some of the same guildleves might take place in different routes or areas on the map. Perhaps they could make it where multiple behests can happen at the same time similar to that by taking place in different spots on the map.

Aside from that 8 person behest problem, i do believe there needs to be a more genuine feeling of accomplishment when defeating behest bosses. They seem too bland.

thats pretty much what the OP is saying. Here let me dig up a video of what WAR did.

Here is a video of a "NM" that spawns after the segements of the quest are done.

Haha, great minds think alike! That's exactly the coolest WAR public quest in my mind. I still remember my first reaction, I was like "WTF IS THAT?!" when it appeared and came trashing down those trees :P

It looks cool but I don't think it lasted long enough.

I was thinking more like 2-3 minute battle.

Also Rift rifts are the same deal: group battles with mini-objectives (and sometimes more than kill everything) ending with one or two bosses. Works fantastically.

Best call in Fippy Darkpaw for the ones in bentbranch/bearded rock/blackbrush. Hopefully he isn't too busy getting killed every 5 minutes.

Lol yeah, that was frikken awesome when you first see it "back in the day". Remember the giant demon thing in one of the towns thats chained to the center. Ah well...

Oh I agree - we're not speaking of it should be exactly like this. Just something of a similar nature with an interesting boss at the end. Not just more of the same at the end.

Me neither. It actually took a long while before I understood what the OP meant by that.
The 3d modelers have been on a 7-month vacation so far.

I think it's not unreasonable to expect them to get some new unique mobs done?

Depends what city it was in.. I used to like WAR a lot, but then my gfx burned down so I couldn't play anything for a long time.. so I kinda quit playing it because of that. The game was actually pretty demanding on the specs of your computer, even though it was released years ago. I still play ffxiv on the same computer ^^ Quests were really nice in that game also, lots of storyline in them. I still can't but wonder why there's a quest limit in ffxiv.. I'm not talking about the leve limit but you can do only 16 quests every reset.. that lasts you for like a few hours or something. Most I hate when I've done everything and I have nothing else to do than grind or do behests o_o That's one of the reasons why I came up with the behest boss idea, to make it less boring, lol.

Well personally I'm wondering why must they make us wait such a long time for a patch anyways? Why can't they just implement small fixes. The time gap between every patch is HUGE. Mostly I'm waiting for the 1.18 patch just to find it hilariously funny from the view of "Instances filled with monsters that are already running the fields, but hey now they're different color!" or something like that.
