What are the chances of ever getting similar sized massive zones/maps that 1.0 had?

I remember in 1.0 looking off in the distance and seeing some blurry location that looked like just another background only to run closer and see it start to take shape as another explorable place. I really do miss 1.0 sometimes. If I had 1.0 with parts of 2.0's UI (mainly hot bars) I'd be set

I know how big it was, my point was that the "detail" of the zone isn't nearly as much as people thought it was. It was just a bunch of repetition except for a few areas. The image I linked shows many of the copy and pasted elements in just PART of the Coerthas map. You could see it in all the zones.

The snow is a result of the calamity iirc, and likely has to do with a certain primal. Also, What we have for Coerthas is only the eastern half.

I noticed it plenty in La Noscea, even outside of caves. You would see the same hill 2-3 times easily.

Except all of the little ridges, which you couldn't even jump over.

The map size in 1.0 was good, the scenery was boring. Especially the 1.0 Black Shroud. I did prefer the overall "look" of Coerthas in 1.0 only cause I prefer a green mountain zone with lakes to a snowy area.

There's the thing though, those are the underground pools and such. If you did not look at the map, being inside them and running around there (gasp! impossible) you wouldnt notice the copy/pasting even remotely..

The most famous video of the copy pasting is a guy doing just that, and noticing it as he's playing.

This is one of the main reasons I quit this game. The world is utter crap. There is no exploration, every map is a tiny box. I cant climb, jump from or to anywhere. Invisible walls everywhere. I'd much rather have the 1.0 maps, even with their "copy paste" which I don't see from these pics posted here. They just seem like natural landscapes.
