What can I say...We NA like to take care of our own... and have fun in the processe......

There are a lot of laws that govern contest entry and winning that vary internationally and even within countries themselves. Most companies don't consider it cost effective to run contests that qualify for foreign law.

Contests like these don't always cater to NA. I remember one cosplay contest last year that was only for EU. I see a lot of NA/EU/JP exclusive contests from time to time. There is no overarching bias here.
