Well, they're not gonna make everyone happy, I guess. Just really not looking forward to leveling GLA. . .

Jobs are the same level as your class, you don't have the level them. Once you unlock them they are the same rank as the corresponding class. If you like tanking too you can just play PGL, you don't have to play MNK. ^^

But the new dungeons are going to be balanced around a party playing the appropriate jobs, if I'm not mistaken. I already tank current content fine on my PGL; I'm just worried my LS is going to be losing a tank going into the new content if I don't level GLA up. :(

probably something like that to start with, but they did show that dark knight kind of looking gear also maybe Paladin or Dark Knight on Gladiator? We'll see... I'm just curious about how the job system is going to play in this game.

Get Conjurer / Thaumaturge to a level reach and unlock RDM they said that some class would be hybrid and you must level up more then 1 class to unlock like Dark knight.

I can see monk as possibly one of those combo jobs where you have to have both Thaum and Pug leveled. Think about it, both are in Uldah, a tradional Monk was religious right? So are Thaums. Seems like a possible choice for unlocking Monk

They said that combo jobs would come later and one of them being Red mage and maybe dark night so no you only need to level up pug to get monk.

So then THF will be first job for PUG and MNK will come later as a combo job

That makes 2 of us! ^^ I'm satisfied with PGL for the "I wanna punch stuff!" role. IMO having THF at first batch would be much more interesting endgame-wise than having MNK.
