about pugs possible metamorphosis? Honestly, I love the job and think its one of those unsung hero types where most people, unless they main it and play it well, don't understand how good it is. Honestly, unless it takes a dynamic shift in a bad direction I can't see it doing anything but becoming even more dynamic.

The only thing that truly gives me pause is the mp cost people stumbled on in the auto attack thread for light strike and flurry. I hope that was just an unchanged "thing" in the demo and not implement in our build.

Anyway, point is I am fairly excited. How about my fellow pugs? Yes? No? Wish they added a kick attack :P ?

I'm not really excited with nothing announced...i can say i'm more depressed than excited with 1.18.

However, i do am looking foward to PGL's jobs...if we have a branching its possible it branch into MNK, THF, NIN and PUP (due its native skills...however i wouldn't expect all 4 at first batch...actually if we get MNK and THF it would be already good enough), which would be very nice!

Hopefully i'll have PGL high enough to unlock jobs right after patch goes live.

And about kick attacks, i would love seeing MNK with this trait! ^^

Only one job per class to start. Hopefully we'll see more options down the road...

Gladiator - Paladin
Lancer - Goon
Marauder - Warrior
Puglist - Monk or Thief
Conjurer - WHM? BLM? RDM?
Thaumaturge - WHM? BLM? RDM?

probably something like that to start with, but they did show that dark knight kind of looking gear also maybe Paladin or Dark Knight on Gladiator? We'll see... I'm just curious about how the job system is going to play in this game.

LOL yeah I mean Dragoon used to call it goon in XI. I had some guys who never wanted to play other jobs than Dragoon lol they started XIV with me but all gone now, maybe if they put Dragoon back they will come back just for that lol.

Get Conjurer / Thaumaturge to a level reach and unlock RDM they said that some class would be hybrid and you must level up more then 1 class to unlock like Dark knight.

Well, they said we will be unlocking one at first batch...but they said nothing about being strictly 1:1. I assume we will be able to pick one from a few options...its like Reinheart said...i do am expecting WHM, BLM and RDM coming from CON at starting patch...but the player being able to become WHM or BLM or RDM.

I'm looking forward to THF, was one of my mains in XI, and I intend on bringing it back that way in this, so hopefully they add it xD

Would love THF to be PGL's job... =3 Even the lore could probably fit...
