First expansion pack and new race

I'd be curious to see how they handled male Viera as well as how they'd handle helmets for them. (I mean, I don't think they could do the same thing as they did for the Miqo'te)

Could someone please link me to the original mention of a new race or the voting for it? This is the first I've heard of it. Thank you! :)

I'd rather see an reptilian/avian race if they went for another animal. Mammals all look the same, except for the ears. Viera would be cute if they were almost Lala sized though... And bunny dudes wouldn't be weird at all >:D

It's an ok addition, I guess. Since we can do everything on a single character, there really isn't much reason to reroll a new one just to look different. I might try to use a fantasia to turn myself into one if they ever let us change our character names. Right now I'm more interested in new content I can do on my current character and new class/job combinations.

We don't need more races. We need more classes and possibly a few more jobs.

Viera would be awful. I'd much prefer we had some of the beastmen, like the Amal'ja, if we absolutely have to have a new race. They should also release the Fantasia potion at the same time to let people change their current race when they come out with one.

I want dwarves with some detailed explanation about some of Zodiark's dark crystals found in the underworld. Ill be honest, I really just want to walk through an underground castle with a bunch of dwarves screaming 'LALI HO' at me.
