Question and concerns about the vanity sytem..

Well, what's seems silly to one person sounds fun to another. Personally I don't wanna see that kind of stuff either, but I also recognize that someone else might enjoy that even if I don't.

Plus there are people who have actually found very creative uses for the seasonal gear. In the show your vanity thread, a lalafell used a reindeer body piece and a behemoth head piece to make them look like a little monster. I thought that was pretty cool actually.

As far as people looking totally ridiculous, i feel like people will find it funny for the first couple of weeks and then it will quickly get old. And if it really bothers you that much, then just run content with friends who you trust will dress to your own standards.

I hope we are allowed to wear seasonal gear in our vanity slots. I should be able to wear it if I choose to.

Well.. considering the naked whm I saw in CT last night.. a properly geared tank wearing snowman stuff in vanity slots would be a bargain... and somewhat amusing.. :P

Considering it will be closer to WoW's Transmog and not vanity slots.... Yes, they've said it won't be slots. And this has been known for quite a while now.

I hate seeing people raid in ridiculous seasonal gear, but I'm willing to give that in exchange for allowing us to replace the look of, say, the Darklight tanking gear (head+chest pieces) with a non-combo (i.e. head/chest as different pieces) look.

But knowing SE, they'll probably say it's gonna take too much effort to change the model whatever and force the combo look on us. :(

lol your immersion. That is the silliest reason to not want other people to wear the outfits they like.

I don't get people and their "immersion" You do know it's a lot of npcs with funny names like it's one in either Camp drybone or Horizon named "Ermergerd" did that break your immersion?
All the armor in this game is beyond ugly. The only good looking stuff is the seasonal gear.

No fun allowed.
