Question and concerns about the vanity sytem..

I know there will be limitations as to what we can equip.

But.. are we going to be seeing people dressed in "halloween" "chritmas" or any other "seasonable" gera in raids?

It would TOTALLY DESTROY MY IMMERSION to see.. lets say a "SNOWMAN" be my main tank at a very important boss and even worse, to see that in the Cutscene.

I hope it does not come down to this

So because it breaks your immersion you want to ruin to everybody else? If people want to raid in biquinis that's their business not yours. Don't we have enough limitations with the dye system?

Pretty sure the vanity system will not include off classes/seasonal gear.

Maybe there will be an option to turn off your ability to view vanity? Other than that guess your SOL sorry. :-/

Can't find the particular source as it's been some time, but Yoshi P. indicated that while players would have freedom to customize their outward appearance with the vanity system, there would be limitations placed on the options based on the class/job you're playing as. Something about not having a BLM that looks like a PLD.

Yes... I know about a BLM not being able to talk as a PLD.. but having people raid in sesonsal gear is something I would think is just silly..
