It upsets me that their is not really any content worth doing because my gear is almost as good as it gets without actually doing any difficult content .
I wish they would have iLvl 100+ items so their is something to work towards .
My alt is really only able to farm coil and CT , main is iLv85 without even doing coil or any EX primals .
They need to make a new 4 man dungeon every month to keep the tome grinding fresh.
1 new Raid dungeon every 2-3 months
They need to add iLvl 95 armor that can be purchased with myth tomes but costs ALOT , like 1500 tomes per item to keep players who like to grind a reason to grind .
What is it like to be unable to clear all of the content?

I've yet to reach extreme primal and coil because..
1) There isn't any class/job that interests me enough to get the higher endgame gears fo them.
2) Without any class/job that interests me I don't have much feel to dedicate improving my skills with that class beyond now.
3) No point in getting high end gear that I won't use for long term. -

Why are you stuck here? I and static group and older adults that can play only once or twice a week. They no want to do Extremes. PUGs DF and PF has many issues, finally cleared when another static team healer was MIA on a day, so I begged in
Are you upset about this? Yes, very. Wiping on same fight for 100 plus times. Begging people/FC/LS/JPs to help and not getting any. Trying, doing perfectly and still wipe due to others. Long queue times just to wipe, and people rage quit. Getting tired and wiping due to self, etc. Many many rage inductive reason. In the end, I feel Game Design for extreme fights inclines people toward rage, due to previously mentioned factors and more.
Should any changes be made to the content to accommodate you and players like yourself? Need to be redesigned so 1 person cannot wipe whole group easily.
What kind of content would you like to see added in future patches for you to enjoy? Better PF, DF, more fun content that does not use 1 hit wipe mechanics for toughness. -

Going to answer your question, hopefully it'll help your research. I am not casual by any means, sure I have a job and all that, but I realize I can be pretty hardcore when I want to be, and on average I play about 5 hours a day (which is definitely outside of casual I'd say).
1. Content that has gated me, and for how long:
- The Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 5, 3 weeks (technically, I was able to enter T5 since 7 weeks or so ago, but I only started to seriously attempt it 3 weeks ago)
- The Navel (Extreme), 4 weeks
2. Why am I stuck there:
- My static has some member issues. Recently, one of our members left due to some real life complications, and we've found a replacement, however he is currently not geared enough to follow the strategy that we use. It will be a few weeks before we can attempt T5 as a static, and until then I believe the rest of us will clear T5 on our own time. Pugging T5 has not helped me progress much either, if anything I feel like I am stagnating.
- I am simply too lazy to do Titan Extreme. My priority at the moment is T5. I also spend more time levelling my alt Warrior and Dragoon than attempting Titan.
3. Am I upset: Maybe for Coil T5, since I have been trying to pug it for 3 weeks now, but with pugs I have not managed to gone beyond Conflagration. The only thing upsetting me is my lack of progress on Turn 5, despite investing hours.
4. Should any changes be made: I think the content is fine as it is.
5. What kind of content would you like added: It differs from individuals, but I would really like more dungeons. I don't think they should be as hard as Pharos Sirius at the moment however. -

Hard modes had for a while since I couldn't be arsed to grind out philos for Darklight. Since 2.1 came about, we've moved past that.
Now it's coil and tower.

For coil, its because I know what's awaiting me in terms of player attitudes and for tower, it's due to queues just being frustrating as Hell.

Kinda. The whole tendency towards content that necessitates other people to perform so well just breeds a perspective in which other players are viewed as tools. This just makes something already stressful completely tiresome.
As to what could be done to accommodate both of us?
Create a 2nd, completely distinct game.
Should any changes be made to the content to accomodate you and players like yourself?
Scaling parties to offset queue times and an alternate reward structure could help.
What kind of content would you like to see added in future patches for you to enjoy?
Copy PSO and I'll be good...
Other than that though, story, exploration (which would require a control rework to be done well), housing and collectibles would all be great. -

It makes me very angry. Like viciously angry. So angry that if I were to state how I felt about how the Titan EX fight is impossible for me to do because of the "everyone stops attacking/moving for 3 seconds now let's play catch up" lag I would definitely be banned.
If the Development teams make another fight like Titan again... -

Do you think you'd be more interested in the more difficult content if you found a group of like-minded people to play it with?
