Err.. what? That'd put him at 390 accuracy with Bravura, 427 with Dual Haken.. Not to mention the Hero's neck (assume you mean this with Hero Choker) is pretty terrible, and should be a last upgrade. CT helm is one of the better drops from there in itemization, so going for Myth helm which isn't itemized well is a waste when considering other Myth BiS pieces.

I really wouldn't follow this advice at all.

There's usually a reason you have 500 accuracy.

I can't look at your gear since it shows you on your Alchemist, but:

1.) You have Hoplite helm, going from Hoplite to AF+1 or CT is -15 accuracy.
2.) If you're still rocking the DL pants, prepare to lose 20+ accuracy after upgrading pants/feet to i90.
3.) Only jewelry that gives +accuracy is Allagan, otherwise you'll have to settle for HQ Gryphonskin or Hero's jewelry (which has no accuracy at all except the ring)
4.) If you happen to get Allagan Flanchards, that's either -40+ (from DL) or -20+ (from AF+1)

Dual Haken does solve a lot of issues, though. For example I'm fairly certain you can be full myth with the Dual Haken and still reach accuracy cap for 1-5 Coil. But if you get the Allagan ring you'll fall below it. Stuff like that is why accuracy is annoying on WAR.

You have 60 head. Allagan Helm doesn't drop until T4 get that first!!! I can't recommend this more.

First question I wanna ask if you are planning to do Coil with your WAR since I see that WHM is listed as your main. If you are then you will need Dual Haken to hit ACC Cap, other wise the Bravura provides more mitigation.

And DONT get the Myth Boots, the Allagan ones are your best in slots.

I agree with the other posts you should spend your Myth for BiS only. You will probably want to get the Helm too though since the Allagan (BiS) drops in T5 or replace the Hoplite with the CT, its debatable if the CT one is actually BiS until Allagan Helm since it provides parry.

Myth Body is BiS, but since you have Armor of Light its not a major upgrade, althought the Acc does help.

Allagan Belt is BiS, Myth one offer no Parry so I wouldn't recommend getting it, I would stick with DL or try to get CT one and spend Myth on your other slots first.

You didn't mention what you have on your glove slot but i'm gonna assume its DL, Myth gloves are BiS, Allagan one doesn't provide any Parry..

CT pants are actually decent and has more parry than both Myth and Allagan so no major rush to upgrade them, save it for later. As for BiS between Myth and Allagan, its debatable but personally I prefer Myth cause i think Det is better than Crit with the recent changes in 2.1.

For Neck piece I recommend you to farm Ultima or try for Allagan choker (BiS), myth ones offer more Vit than Ultima but i rather spend myth on other gear first.

Earrings I would go for Allagan (BiS), Titan EM ones offer no parry and Myth gives Skill speed.

Bracelet go for Myth (BiS) although Allagan and Ifrit ones are also a good option.

Rings go for both Myth and Allagan one, Garuda one has DPS stat so its meh, you can farm Ultima for that ring as well..


Order I recommend you upgrade:

Get Dual Haken Axe if you plan to do Coil as WAR, other wise Bravura Zenith is fine.
Buy Myth Ring and Gloves
Farm CT for Crown of Light (optional, but highly recommended)
Buy Myth Chest (need the Acc for T5, if you dont plan to do Coil, can be upgraded later)
Farm Ultima for Ring and Choker and Ifrit for Wrist (both optional, neither are BiS and most PF group will have hard time downing them)
Buy Myth Bracelet (BiS)
Buy Myth Pants (can skip if you got Allagan pants) / Buy Myth Helm (can skip if you get Allagan Helm, but unlikely since its T5)

All while farming Coil for Allagan Belt, Choker, Earrings, and Ring. Allagan Pants and Bracelets are good upgrades but aren't BiS.
And if you are lucky enough to down T5 Axe and Helm.

Allagan Choker
Allagan Earrings

Allagan Ring

You will still have 472 acc and 552 Parry. You will have 341 Crit, 241 Det and 393 Skill Speed. You lose both Crit and Det but gain Skill Speed. Crit and Det are much better than Skill speed so I would advise to go with the first set.

*If you are doing EX Primals, CT, 50 4-man dungeons or other low level instances, use Bravura Zenith since you don't need the accuracy from Dual Haken.

Oops my mistake. Forgot the Allagan Neck was the T1 drop. Was thinking it was a later drop.

So grab the AF2 Helm. Farm Garuda for the ring which should be quick to get. Accuracy will be a little low but shouldn't cause an issue with losing hate. Better to have the HP to stay alive.

Ya he really hasn't said whether its for Coil or not. I just figured since he cared to ask for an upgrade path that it was. I mean honestly OP if you aren't gearing for Coil, it really doesn't matter what you go with, just fill your weakest slots at that point. Then I'd agree with the helm upgrade first, and grab that Myth ring. However if you are gearing for Coil, don't get that Myth helm, because that is a big myth hit for no accuracy upgrade, which will keep you in the hole for quite a while.

While I'm not specifically gearing my WAR for Coil, I am a backup tank for my Coil static, which means any tanking I do is mostly just in Turn 1 and sometimes Turn 4. My WHM is typically what I go as, but I don't want to slack off on being the best tank I can be, given my current gear.

I edited my main post to add that I'm currently using the Warrior's Gauntlets in my gloves slot right now, and I'm currently stuck on Titan EX, so as wonderful as a Dual Haken would be, it will probably be a while before I can get my hands on it. I think I'm going to go ahead and get the Warrior's Cuiruss, as just this last week doing Turn 1 I felt like I was missing some of my attacks, something I hadn't noticed since I started upgrading into the Crystal Tower pieces. I may hold off on getting it if the tank body drops from Turn 1 next week and I'll continue to do my best to progress through the extreme primals until I can get a Dual Haken.

All the same, the feedback is very much appreciated.

Had to settle for CT pants last night, tired of grinding CT. Jackboots aren't that bad, but yea none of the myth jewelry for tanks has accuracy. Hopefully we make some progress on the Coil and I can snag some of that jewelry. What turn do the Allagan earring drop? (EDIT: Turn 2?)

Here's my personal set up that I'm striving for; Warrior (just need the allagan head/axe and primal neck and wrist.

A quick note is that dut to the amount of Allagan you will most likely hit or exceed 480 acc so I tried to minimize it while focusing on Parry. The Ultima Choker would be considered BiS due to the fact that it gives both Parry and Determination and only sacrifices 2 Vitality. It's a good trade IMO.
