Do EX weapons need to get buffed?

If the EX Primals are as tough as Coil then yes, they should be buffed. I personally think obtaining Zenith is far too easy as it is. They should get rid of Zenith altogether and give the EX Weapons the Zenith stats. As of right now, EX Weapons are just trophies.

No, they give us people who can't beat Twintania yet an option to sidegrade our weapons. Especially warriors who have absolutely no freaking accuracy on their weapons so we have to downgrade some items just to do Coil.

So nah, I think however that relics should have remained stronger, and they should have been a little bit more challenging to get. Maybe they could do something like extreme mode trials to be necessary to +1 your weapons. That would have been far more interesting .

Anyway, these are slot fillers imo, for alt jobs, they look nice but not very serious... (books and staves with faces? XD)

Some of them already are stronger in itemization than relics +1.

And as a last point, these are very easy to get, so no reason to make them better. You forget that when we got our relics we were wearing scrap gear, now everyone is atleast at ilvl 80+.

Buffed? Nah...like 'Zenith', SE needs to give them some kind of actual attributes rather than more +stat.

Yeah sorry, I meant weeks. It's still longer than the stupid extreme mode weapons.

And well the were 3 weeks before, now two but still. Extreme modes are 1 weapon a week, for relatively less effort if you have a good group.. (The relic quest is easy and boring, too long for how easy and bornig it is :P)

So overall, unless you have issues killing the extreme modes it's easier.

Yeah, relics are missing a special "niche".

Something that makes them actually worthwhile and nice.

I would've preferred if relic upgrade was obtainable through extreme mode like the new ones since they don't feel all that special anyway. Take out skill speed if there are any on them and change it to another more useful secondary stat. Gives you more choices depending on what gear set up you want or is available to you at the same difficulty rate.

IMO they’re fine as is. They offer a sidegrade option for people with zenith and a non-myth i90 wep option for people with lots of alts.

no, it's a free +1. second/third best weapons in the game. makes it easy enough to play a different class on a competitive level. they are already good enough as is.

I think they're ok. Shame some of them aren't itemized that well, but they weren't meant to be better than Zenith, just an alternative.
