With an attitude like that, you'll have difficulty finding a Free Company at all, as it sounds like you're just looking to be carried along. Find an FC with nice people, and work on Coil with them, help create the win, Don't just expect it to be handed to you.

There is basically only 1 tier of raiding meaning you can't really over gear the top tier content by much. The difficulty of T1-T5 and EM will go down in 2.2 when turns 6-10 are released with higher ilvl gear and new tomb gear AF2 I believe. Probably have another 20 ilvl jump and when people get more geared out the older stuff will become easier.

Sorry but I do most of the carrying. I refuse to spend hours attempting simple content because people cant be bothered to not stand in the bad stuff. And no I don't have trouble finding FCs. I have been an Officer and/or raid leader in every guild in every MMO I have played. I also formed/lead my current coil group which has been farming t1-4 for two months now.

I am sorry but EM primals are not hard and I just don't have the time to watch people make the same stupid mistake 10 times in an hour. I don't like being mean to people and I would rather just not play with people that keep up then have to explain to them they are bad and kick them out.

You just contradicted yourself! You call the Extreme modes a great jump and then bash those new to the endgame about making mistakes? Well dude I hope you never make a mistake in your life cause you will be highly disappointed with the results!

Sounds like you got the boot from other FC's about your behavior. Not everyone is as good as you or others in endgame content, people now a days throw away any social interaction. I'm glad during my entire run in FFXI and WoW (up till a few months after Burning Crusade) that I had some fun and exciting times with even when we died multiple times in raids/dungeons. Alot of those Guys/Gals Im friends with and a few in my guilds ending up getting married!

Yeah... most of "relevant content" is unpuggable. You either go with people you know, or have a rough time completing it (if at all). If I was in your situation, I'd try making a LS, pugging stuff and inviting people you liked to it.

Or you could put one of those condescending ads on PF. You'd be amazed on how many people I've seen doing it, then talking big on the forums/shouts. I guess this proves it works.

Well aren't you just an adorably arrogant lil guy.

Considered making your own FC and recruiting other players of your supposed skill level? Nah, too much like hard work I'd imagine.

It's hard to get things done in this game. Most ls/fcs have a bunch of members that rarely log on so setting up coil runs is a pain. Add that to the fact that you get locked out as well you can't go with another group to help. DFing hard content is not an option because one baddie usually ruins it for everyone and most players go into content without knowing squat about the fight. You do pretty much need to be in a hardcore elitist FC to get s... done.

Then there's the battle system of just rotations and phases which gets pretty annoying since everyone has to memorize it to proceed to the next. Add that with the dps/gear checks that doesn't allow you to carry others if your skill is good enough. Ughhh end game is just mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

EM is a big jump in difficulty... that doesn't mean I think they are hard. It just means the content before that is super easy. Titan HM can be beaten with 4 people.
