This is only a theory, but maybe with the extra DPS, the phases get pushed faster and thus the plume's stacks are not an issue? If that's not the case then it's all RNG (everybody's FAVORITE mechanic~!) if it's on the MT or somebody else

I "believe" the phases are timed. I cannot say for sure, its possible they are tied to when the adds die and Garuda simply phases X seconds after. I have no actual evidence to base this on other than having killed her and this is the impression I got, lol. :)

EvanderStoneguard, are you talking about Garuda Hard Mode? They are talking about Garuda Extreme Mode. Most people don't do EX Garuda without their relic. And I dont think an ilevel 65 Tank can survive tanking both Garuda and Suprana due to Wicked Wheel, I saw it kill full ilevel 90 tanks before. You also didn't mention anything about how you handled the Spiny Plume, if the Spiny Plume started on you it's gonna be hard for a DPS to take it off you before 3 stacks without killing it.

There is no "hard to" it is impossible to pull the spiny without provoke.

I havent seen anyone mention that after the 3rd or so tornado phase, the plumes blow up faster and you have less time to kill both sisters. Soft enrage i guess. I had a pt bad enough to experience this.

Pretty sure each phase has a maximum time allowed. If you don't DPS the twins fast enough they will eventually jump with Garuda and wipe you if they're still up. This is a tell-tale sign that you don't have enough DPS.

pre aerial blast phases are hp based, eye and tornado phases are timed. This is how we can down garuda in 2 tornado phases. On the 3rd tornado phase, it might be shorter (for whatever reason lots of groups dies here, with just a bit slow in killing sisters), but 3rd phases her blast is 1/3rd more powerful.

I don't think spiny is random, but I maybe wrong, it may actually come from who has hate on when she first jumps down from eye, it seems to consistently go for our tanks when we all "ready" the tornado phase and of course tanks touch it first.

But realistically one tank is going to wipe you, unless you have a tank LB ready. Honestly having 2 tanks 1 healer is better then 1 tank-2 healer. The OT tank is practically another dps if you learn how to move between tornados and aoe down plumes ( holy is gody in the eye phase)

my understanding is that chirada's move can be split between all who are hit by it like they hydra's triumvirate. If you get 4-5 people to stack on the "tank" when the target shows up, it will do less damage to all of them

Yes down burst is divided up between all like orbs in ultima hm. The bard would have all team on him during downburst. From what I hear on spiney is the 2nd highest enmity is who it goes to but everytime I'm MT the plume is always on me. So that leaves me with Garuda suprana and the plume bc the other tank never gets him. I also like the idea of someone going class so they can have voke but u might lose a little dps that way.
