Shadow Flare glitch?

this is strange and it's never happened to me before

maybe you clicked the buff off by accident? assuming you can even do that with shadowflare

It actually happened to me once before in my WP run.

It was when I fought with the first boss. My accuracy was around 417.

I did several things I don't remember, then afterwards when I used Shadow Flare, the message said that the boss dodged it, which was very surprising.

I tried using Shadow Flare several more times to no avail until I resumed my normal rotation. Then, some time later I could successfully use it.

Right now I face no such problem though.

You can't click off Flaming Arrow. I assume the same is true of Shadow Flare.

It is true.

As you have a shadowflare active you do loose any other shadowflare active (edit) as casting a new one.
The combatlog will state you are casting flare. Nothing will tell you you finished the 2nd cast. But you will see the loss of the buff of your first flare.

Why the bubble didn´t appear? No clue maybe it got 90000k error and as it reconnected you were allready done with that instance leaving a sad bubble behind.

I see he used Moldy Sneeze just before it. I'm fairly certain that move prevents debuffs from landing for a period of time, perhaps SF counts in this mechanic? I've had my DoT's on both BRD and SMN get erased and "no effect" when I try putting them back on immediately after sometimes. I'm fairly certain it only has happened to me after sneezes.

This happens when you put a Cleric Stance'd Shadow Flare down, and try to overwrite it with a non-Cleric Shadow Flare.
