Shadow Flare glitch?

I was debating rather I should put this in Healer or DPS section, but its a DD move so I'ma list it here.

I was just running WP and doing the normal routine. When we got to the first boss, I tried to place a Shadow Flare down... but it apparently missed?



I don't know if accuracy can even affect floor AOE, but I do have 350 as a SCH.

Anyways, I'm just curious of this is a glitch of some sort or I'm just doing it wrong.

Shadowflare's damages are not in the combat log. I think you just dodged an attack right after casting Shadowflare

That combat log doesn't say anything about you missing shadowflare. It's a buff you gained and 30 seconds later you lost it. Nothing special. Turn on timestamps!!

My apology for the late reply, I should of turn timestamp on. The problem was that the shadow flare disappeared as soon as I casted it. It didn't even tick.

I don't think it took 30 seconds for the PLD to go from Fast Blade to Savage Blade.

Anyway, I've never actually seen this happen. Weird. >_>

When you cast shadow flare, you gain a buff that's more of a timer that reflects shadow flare's remaining duration.

May be true...but the log doesn't have him casting it at all.

I did not, I think it would of been included in the battle log if I did.
