Afaik certain parts/bosses in CT will be done by the 3 parties combined. Also looking beyond CT there will (hopefully) be more 24 man content later on, where the 24 people really fight together. The design off the interface needs to have future content in mind as well, no point redesigning it with every patch depending on the current 24 man content really.
Way to judge something before you even saw it in use a single time. Off of a single picture even. Sad.
They may fight together, but way it set up each party can take care of it self.
I agree. The Alliance UI (and the Alliance system in general) should be built from the ground up looking into the future, not just "Well, this is what we want it for with this patch and we'll think about how to rework it later when things change." Doing it the latter way is just begging for inefficient UI design.
I like EdwardRage's idea since it is nice and compact but I think they wanted to go with horizontal bars for consistency. But in that case they could just put the HP bars under the job symbols for the same effect.
That is a 3 party alliance. Your own party's information is displayed in the normal party interface.Quote:
For a 3 party Alliance (24 people) - Job icons could be Vertically aligned - more like the Inventory popup with tabs or just "A B C")
If the Alliance UI could evolve in detail with Alliances toggle button (you can on/off to view each Alliance status)
Now looking on the Main UI (1080p) screen
Umm - I guess it would fit even on low resolutions..

I like it :)
Looks like SE's faster solution was to just increase the height of the hp bar
