Yoshi-P, please consider this Myth cap suggestion...

Currently a set of iLv90 gear from the vendor costs:

Head - 495
Chest - 825
Hands - 495
Legs - 825
Feet - 495
Total - 3135

Waist - 375
Ear - 375
Neck - 375
Ring - 375
Total - 1500

Relic+1: 900

So to gear 1 Job in full iLv90 (less 1 ring obviously) without ever setting foot in Coils, would take 5535/300=19 weeks = 5 months. This is very reasonable as this gear will be top-class for 2 patches; there are no higher iLv gear until 2.2, which should come within 6 months time.

With thte cap raised to 450, that reduces the time to gear your first class to 13 weeks, which means even new players who ding 50 just before 2.1 hits, will be able to have a full set of iLv90 (less 1 ring obviously) by the time 2.2 hits.

If you want to gear up any faster, you need to run Binding Coils.

If it makes you feel better, 3 weeks of capping with allow you to replace the chest/head combo that so many classes after to deal with 1350 tomes to purchase the 1320 tomes worth for both the chest and the head. It even allows you to miss exactly 1 WP. Keeps you nice round numbers there as well.

I like it the way it is and now its getting a buff.

I made a thread about trading iLVL items or even trading some primal or DL for philo. That's about it

My suggestion is NO CAP AT ALL! In a game where you can level every class/job cap makes no sense at all. Make myth tome harder to get but if you're good enough why be forced to be the same as the not so good? Is this some kind of communism in game? Like we are all the same? NO WE ARE NOT!

Enjoy gearing all your characters within one night. Then complain there's no content in the game, that it's boring, etc.

I don't get why other players can't even cap their weekly myth.

1-2 WP runs a day should cap it already. And I don't think running 2 WPs a day is too much or smth like what others are pertaining to.

I honestly would rather it stay at 300 and allow you to collect on each job alone. 5 months per job (shorter for jobs that share) isn't bad at all for free top tier gear. Throw in the new i80 gear and more people doing Coil... Lots of ways to obtain gear for lots of classes. Keep you much busier than current where at best you're really only able to gear 2 jobs, but most likely just 1.

This change reduces all bodies, pants and weapon upgrades from 3 weeks to 2, around every other armor purchase from 2 weeks to 1, and all accessories from 2 weeks to 1. keep in mind that as soon as this change is made, crystal tower will be avialable which will supplement your gear quest with upgrades to your darklight and will help you be more able to play multiple jobs in coil and other content.
