Who has a coil turn5 guide?

Is it faster to DPS down the first two snakes and then go on Asclepius or get them to BLM LB kill range then swap the the main snake.

But we aren't able to kill the main snake before Twintania swoops down. Is this a gear issue or should we be doing it a different way? I'm the only person specced 30 vit (SCH)

I notice your targets hp bar isd split into segments, how do you do that?:O

But yea my group does fight the same way you do on video (though we all stack at divebomb dodging), some of your dps are either slacking or undergeared. Likely your dragoon since his aggro bar is terribly low. Bard could also use foe requiem if he isnt allready.

You can also tank the snakes where the group gathers to avoid divebombs which allows melee to do damage. You could do with killing second set of adds 2-4 seconds faster. (strength potion might help if gear is an issue).

With a LB3, the #1 marked snake should explode as soon as the Meteor lands.... it still has 20% life left. With LB2 we are able to get it down to ~65% before that lands, and that has a quicker cast. So higher, and quicker, DPS on the 2nd snake set will improve overall DPS. Your Asclepious DPS in the divebomb section is also sort of low, with LB2 we usually have it at about 67%, I think judging from your overlay it was at about 74% with LB3. It might be because its outside of the range of the DRG to attack during divebombs besides for Piercing Talon, which is a huge waste of TP (and might be why his damage is the lowest during the 4 stack Asclepious).

Also don't be afraid for DPS to get stacks during the 2nd add sets, it will wear off 2-3 seconds before Aetherial Profusion if you kill them quickly enough which is usually never a problem if you end up having LB3.

I wanted to clarify a couple of things I left incomplete.

Infirmity:Lasts 15 seconds and gives -50% healing. Doesn't affect Lustrate.

Divebombs: Twintania does indeed choose the one(of four) fixed starting points closest to her divebomb target. Also, this appears to be subject to the same weird lag rules that Titan's landslide is. That is...Let's say that you're on the edge of Titan's pillar and Titan is one yalm closer to the center. Titan then targets you with landslide and you proceed to run right at him and through him to his back. But because of the lag, you get hit anyway. Supposedly you should get blown off the arena, but the way the lag works, paradoxicaly you'll get blown towards the center, opposite the force vector of the landslide, and probably live. This doesn't look so weird when it comes to Titan extreme, because it appears the new landslide animation doesn't have any implied directional force. So what does all this mean? Well, a number of points regarding divebomb.

1. They are separated by a fixed 7 seconds, so if you time it, you can count it out and start moving a half second before the symbol appears.

2. From the time the first symbol appears to the time the third symbol appears, 14 seconds will pass. With full TP, sprint will last 20 seconds.

3. Unlike landslide, if server delay causes you to still get hit, there's little chance of being blown out of the arena as long as you're moving perpendicularly to the edge towards the center of the stage.

4. It's not a wipe if you screw up a divebomb. They only do a couple hundred more than the ~3000 that Titan's abilities do. As snakes lack a cleave, the only way a non-tank can die if the snakes are properly tanked is if they screw up a second divebomb.

Once again, this is to the best of my terribly limited knowledge. If I'm completely wrong about something, please say so :)

Out of curiosity what are you guys using your LB on to only have LB2 during this phase? Or is it just because your dps is really high

We DPS constantly for the entire fight, we often transition very very shortly after the 4th Conflaguration. There is still a possibility of having a LB3 for us, but typically not.


If you:
-Transition after 5 Conflagurations
-Have tank getting hit below 15% HP on Death Sentence
-Have people getting killed

There becomes a higher chance of you having LB3. In a pace to kill it between 11-12 minutes, unless someone dies you typically won't have it. If you have watched the world first BG kill video, it shows we wait intentionally to build LB3 (and do very slow DPS in the early phases on top of that), but at the end we hit the 13 minute enrage timer. We found that doing it with LB2 (pushing it down as fast as we can) is a much more consistent option to avoid the enrage timer; if you are really dependent on completing it with LB3 the easiest method IMO would to just have a DPS to die and not really matter to Plummets (BLM is the best option imo, since it has no MP/TP issues that are caused by death).
