Dear Healers that don't DPS in dungeons

If I fuck up and let you die ill stop dpsing
Cant say fairer than that!

Healing is so boring in dungeons though, why not make things go faster?

You can just not pay attention because it's so easy and do something else in the meantime?

I personally prefer a healer that heals first, but is not afraid to get their hands dirty with the group. DPS for healers is fine in boss fights, before adds, or when running WP/ AK speed runs with FC groups. In PUG's, typically, a few variable come into play.
Is the non- healer DPS good enough to take out the mobs fast enough so minimal heals are needed?
Is the healer geared/ skilled enough so that in the event I take too much damage, they are able to heal me up quickly before I, avoidably, hit my CD's?
Typically, if the group is all relic/ relic +1, and it is agreed upon by the tank and healer, healer DPS is fine.
Just don't let the tank die for the sake of you spamming Holy.
Remember, you are healer first, and a shooter second.

I usually dont dps in dungeons. If my role is to heal but I need to do damage for some timely timmys deadline, then I usually don't bother. Healing and keeping people topped off is more important then DPSing for a healer. DPS should be DPSing, and if they aren't then I refuse to make that my problem.

I help out with damage if I'm not feeling lazy. But I will only do holy on trash mobs if there is only 2. Otherwise I put regen on tank, pop cleric stance, aero 2, aero, spam stone 2 until regen is at 5 seconds, take cleric stance off, cure tank, put regen back on, repeat.

I prefer to strictly heal because it gets balls annoying to have to fight off emnity while keeping everyone alive. We have DPS for a reason.

Well, i like dpsing in dungeons like ak/wp because its better than just standing there and looking at the scenery.... ofc i would not cast dmg casts if the tank dies meanwhile

SCH is a DPS job, Eos is the healer. :)
