Potions - what's the point?

i wanna say i saw somewhere that the potions will become useful in PVP.

Except it's really only a 12-13% increase in dex (assuming 470-500 dex unbuffed) for a bard doing twintania, and it only lasts 15 seconds. Most people don't use the potions now because it just isn't worth the trouble. There is no DPS check in this game that requires usage of the consumables, and for those where it could help, it's only a very very small factor because the actual damage increase is pretty small for a fairly short duration.

They really should either increase the duration to 30 seconds, or increase the benefits greatly. Alternatively, I wouldn't mind if they lowered the buff but made the potions last a long time, along the lines of food. I have a feeling this won't happen though.
