Ether and health potions I understand, and they're not really a point of discussion here, well except for maybe their crazy long cool-downs that render them near useless except as desperate one-off items at the end of a long fight that for sure is going to be over in the next 30 secs.

I'm talking about the potions that boost attributes (mind, strength, vitality, etc), which they do, but for only 15s and with LONG cool-downs, and are as expensive to make in terms of materials, crystals, and gathering time, as any food. Further, 15s duration for the attributes like vitality/piety isn't long enough for your mana/health to recharge mid-fight, and if you pop before a fight, it's gone before anything really happens.

I guess for STR/MND/DEX/INT it offers a small temporary damage boost, a bit like a Cooldown power, but the expense to make potions coupled with very short durations and long cool-downs makes using them prohibitive for all but very select scenarios.

Any thoughts?
