My friend was hacked while logged in

This scared me enough to login and check. Thankfully it's all still there, but for how much longer? ><

There's an antidote that sold for 5 mil from someone else. I know I only screened the affected person, but this is Cactuar and this is insane.

Wow, I remember someone saying in /fc chat a little while ago that they saw a bone chip that sold for 2mil on the market history, and at the time we all wondered if it was a gilseller or something. Guess we now know what happened there.

This is a pretty crazy exploit. I guess for once the "emergency" maintenance they do every other night will be justified.

Didn't happen to me but I'm hearing about it all over. Staying away from the market board / retainer bell until this is fixed, and I hope everyone gets their money back fast. It's crazy that this could happen in the first place.

We talking AFK at bell clicked on it to circumvent auto-logout feature? Because if that is how it happened I got an easy fix for everyone til SE sorts it out.

Time to convert all my gils into Allagan pieces.

No wonder I kept getting a "Insufficent gil" message earlier. Got it several times everytime I used the bell in town. I only have 250k gil on me so apparently this hack or bug will only take your money if you have millions laying around. Wow. Just wow.

It seems like they will only hit you if you have 2mil+. I tend to alt-tab a lot while in town -- I sat on the Summoning Bell AND the Market Boards for a few minutes while looking up information about different recipes online. I never saw the "Insufficient Gil" message and haven't lost any money (to my knowledge... too scared to look at my retainers), but I only have about 1mil so I might be 'safe'... for now...
