Whats with the zerg / speed run mentality?

Erm CM till u got a few darklight before Ak or Wp. That is what I did.

That was mostly just bads not understanding how good a great axe war actually was, especially before Rampage is available. They saw Maneater/Ridill wars tearing things up and figured that was the only way to go the whole levelling process.

XI was so elitist it was incredible. Anyone that leveled DRK to 75 deserves a medal, it's why I loved playing BST so much.

EDIT: Though a WHM did work fine with the right setup. It just required slightly smarter playing. Your point still stands, though.

usually a group will say sr if they are making for sr, otherwise ask them.

tips: if you are newly 50, dont join pre-made, those are not for newly 50. Either you made a group yourself with ppl with same gear or you join DF

Important note: always ask, if they dont responce but just invite or pop DF, just withdraw until they answer and then leave if it is not the run you desire

How do you speedrun WP. I've done it about 10 - 15 times but don't see how you can skip mobs in there. It's so linear!

With gear and aoe. You pull everything into one big cluster and explode it all.

Moar Donuts (that's Mor Dhona for you serious peeps) is a very silly place.

In Moar Donuts, I'm told that you can't complete WP or AK without a relic.

In Moar Donuts, they say that anyone without a relic will take at least an hour to complete either instance (which contradicts the first statement, but as I said, Moar Donuts is a very silly place!).

In Moar Donuts, if you aren't already in full Darklight, you're a noob and should not apply.

Just stay out of Moar Donuts and you're likely to avoid people like that. I think it's something with the crystals - madness, I tell you.

The worst part is that there are no donuts there. :-\

Played since around 2006 until recently. How long have you played, good sir? If you DID play, you likely never did endgame of any kind.

Of every MMO out there, FFXI was the absolute worst when it came to elitism. WoW and FFXIV pale in comparison, but it's quite clear that you're just on the "lets H8 wOw" bandwagon. Neither of those games advocate elitists, whereas FFXI did.
