People are already quitting from having nothing to do. You're paying $13-15/month, they have no right to tell you how much and how often you can play. This game needs to stop being a F2P MMO and realize it's a pay to play MMO, F2P MMO = restrictions/limited playing, pay to play = no restrictions.
More people are going to quit from being unable to play, progress, or have anything to do more than 2 hours a week than people will quit from "beating the game". MMO's shouldn't even be beatable, so that in itself is horrible design, if someone wants to beat the game, they should be able to, you, SE, or anyone shouldn't be able to tell me how fast I'm allowed to gear and how often I'm allowed to play. That's stupid.
How does it negatively affect you or your playing experience if people "funnel" gear to a single character? How does this make your play experience worse if you and your FC won't do it? It doesn't, but it allows you to help friends, do coil more than once a week, and actually play the game. Stop defending good changes for stupid reasons.
