    Binding Coil Lockout

    SE please change the lockout rule on Coil. I feel the lockout really hurts alot of players. I'm not saying this so people can spam gear(which i'd have no problem with tbh), but I am saying you should be able to go back in to HELP other players. It sucks that if I beat a turn I cant go back and help others in my FC. How am i suppose to help them all learn ea turn if always locked out once you beat. If you want to stop the gear grind,just lockout the ability to lot on gear after the first time you beat the turn for the week. Doing this would allow people to help their friends,ls & fc mates who have yet learned or know how to do a specific turn and would stop the gear progression you guys at SE love for some reason in this game.

    Would love to hear other opinions on this. Also im sorry if this has been said before and if this is the wrong section of the forums.

    Sure, WTS coil turn 1/2/4 clears ***k each. That is my opinion on it and why you can't have nice things because there will be more people that ruin it than there will be people actually trying to be helpful. Unless you mean to say lock the new person out on loot also which just seems pointless when they could just be brought in the next week and they have a chance at loot too while learning the fight.

    Yeah I liked the idea that SE was saying before 2.0 came out...that we'd have a weekly limit on how many gear pieces we can lot. That idea was so much better then locking us out of content ; ; I want to help my FC members who can't play as often get gear too! >.<

    I don't believe the intention is to stop people getting geared. I think the lockout is more to ensure that anyone you see walking around in gear from coil has truly earned it. Otherwise you would just have people selling Coil runs.

    Man why do people worry about selling runs so much, have merc fc/ls really ruined the game that much for people. I say if SE doesn't want people to sell runs make content harder, but i don't wanna lose out on helping my fc and friends b/c they are worried that people would just use gil to bypass their content

    People can sell runs regardless. It is not an unusual thing for a raiding guild to sell runs of content they have on farm. The lockout is quite specifically designed to gate progression. Loot lockouts only would result in groups leveling a second set of alts so that they can take each raid member's main through a run one at a time and funnel all dropped gear to that individual.

    I agree 100% coil lock outs need removed and a loot lock system needs to be in place. Please ignore anyone who complains about selling runs(Which you can do right now with the current system) and gearing up people by having 7 run them though the dungeon and give them all the loot, because how does either or those things negatively impact or affect you, or ANYONE else in any negative way? It doesn't, you're just being silly by arguing such things. Some random guy paying to be run through or some friends helping gear someone up doesn't change your playing experience, or make the game worse for you in a single way.

    Please stop arguing against and shutting down great ideas that have no negative affect on you, or anyone else in the slightest. Let's get SE to change things about the game that make the game a MUCH more enjoyable experience for people who benefit from it, and doesn't change the playstyle, or the gaming experience of the people who don't want it at all. Don't want this change? That's fine - nothing changes about how you play the game or your experience WHILE playing it. No negatives at all, stop ruining the game for others by defending bad design choices.

    I really can't stress this enough, so I'll say it again: Stop defending bad design choices and holding the game back because you don't like people criticizing something you love(this game). None of these changes will affect how you play the game or your experience with the game AT ALL. If you love the game so much, you should be supporting the game to make it better and more enjoyable for everyone so that more people love it as much as you and more people play.

    You can't have lock outs based on loot and let people go back in again. This would make it so most every hardcore FC would level a 2nd character. They would just take 7 alts 1 main funnel all gear to the main, run coil 8 times a week for 8x as much loot.

    The whole reason the lockouts are there are to slow gear progression. If there was no lockout people would cap out on gear in a couple of weeks, then probably quit cause they have nothing left to do.
