Primal Weapon Exchange

I don't think bosses should drop gear at all. Everything should be token/seal/currency based. Philo for that, myth for that, primal seal for that, gil for that, etc etc.

I've done Ifrit something like 40 times in the past few days. I've seen about 25-30 books. A few bows, 3 WAR weapons, 1 BLM staff, 2 GLD weapons, and 1 Lance. I've been trying to get the WHM staff. ; ;

Literally at least 50% or more of my drops have been one of the two books. So much so that just about everyone that has done more than 2-3 runs with me has a book or both books even if they have no intent to level SCH/SMN

I ran Ifrit 4 times and got pld sword, Guess Im lucky. Also on garuda HM I ran it once and got war axe. I have a 50 war and 50 pld.

At least Garuda give a nice 15/7 tomes so even if you don't have it on your 43th run you won't need to do Ak this week

I ran ifrit 92 times and saw the pld sword twice (lost it the first time @ around the 70th attempt). Done about 20 successful runs with Garuda and seen the same 3 weapons over the 20 runs.

Well, they do drop seals with a stupidly low drop rate, they sell for 100 phil tomes.

Would prefer a token exchange for primal weapon, though. 100% drop rate and all weapons cost x tokens. That would guarantee a weapon after x runs.

I agree that SE needs to consider implementing a token system, so we can farm Ifrit and trade in tokens to get what we want.

Ifirit's bow is a myth, farming with a pre-made grp for 4hrs and not seeing it drop once is horrible...

I'm now up to doing Ifrit I don't know how many times and everyone I've taken with me just about has already gotten all their weapons to the point where nobody will do it with me anymore after all this time, and I still have not seen even ONE WHM staff. >.<

Even now after this long, still over 50% of the drops I've seen have been books. o_o
