Primal Weapon Exchange

I would like to see a weapon exchange system for the primal weapons. An NPC that can take weapon and exchange it for the class you plan to play. Easy to do, have it cost 1 gil, 1000 gil, 10,000 gill, or a 1 time use per weapon turn in. At least people could get weapon trying to farm for.



Reason

I ran Ifrit, and Garuda hard modes with my FC few days ago. Did Ifrit 14 times in row. Saw the Con staff drop 7-8 times. (Conj didn't need, they both had), 2 Bows for Arc (all had), 1 Mrd axe (none on hand), 1 Lnc Staff (none on hand). Next night 4 times, 2 more conj staffs (none needed), and 1 Thm staff (none on hand).
Ran Garuda 4 times. 1 Lnc staff dropped (not one Lcn on hand), and 3 healer staffs (only 1 needed).

I did get my glad weapon on last run second night. But we have Arcanist that still don't have class weapon after 25+ runs.

I think they should do what they did in 1.0 and the Hard Mode Primal drop seal, once you get enough Seal you can trade in for the weapon you are looking for. It is much better then right now when you try to farm for the weapon like 100 times and never get it. Add to this as a DPS with 30 minutes wait or longer between each fight.

I miss how you could turn primal weapons in for company seals, like was available late into 1.0. You could get anywhere from 1,250 to 2,000-someodd weather it was Ifrit's or Garuda's. Not a big number when you're a high ranking lieutenant but better than what you got for dungeon drops. I don't get why they removed the option, I mean with relics easier to get (YES, they ARE easier to get!) and space reduced like it is it seems odd not to be able to get rid of these weapons.

I know this isn't a solution but if you have a FC working together you should be able to beat all 3 primals relatively easily with the level 55 green weapons and just get relics with no randomness involved

You could convert primal weps into good materia in 1.0, irrc. That would be a great feature to add back...

the token system does not function as well, cause the drop rate is not 1% or whatever it felt like in 1.0-. it drops every time, you wont have to run it the 50-100 times most people did to see one drop. One of our members had a run of 110 ifrit wins to get ifrits cane, that was pre token system. thats how messed up it was.

I guess I'm a little too late, but the point is relevant enough. Just beat each primal once and get your relic.

Primal weapon drops are more of a convenience for when you finally get around to leveling that alt. (edit: by alt I meant other jobs ofc =p)

For once, I do agree having exchange system back in 1.0 available in ARR too.

If I could trade archanist books for other weapon's I'd probably have every classes Ifrit and Garuda weapon by now.
