Am I the only one with good end-game/DF experience so far?

Indeed, I have beaten a number of the trickier levelling dungeons with 1 shots on bosses & things with a nice friendly group.
I can't complain about my experiences thus far

You gotta remember people are posting on the forums honestly just to complain and get people riled up, this is how the XI forums were 1.0 forums also. People who live on the forums are not getting the same time in others are so they take a couple bad experiences and then throw it to the hungry pack of bottom feeders on the forums. hence another reason Gen Dis is just a forum full of hate, crying and BS.

I love DF. It makes my day sometimes, running/messing around with HM Titan and coaching newer players through it. I dunno that's where I find the most fun these days in FFXIV aside from the twintania wipes.

I've had more good groups than bad. I think pat of the issue is unhappy people say so to everyone around, and happy people don't feel the need to go on about it. So you hear the bad stories of DF far more than the good/neutral ones.

Edit: This means you were part of the first wave of people and probably were one of the ones that rushed to end so saying that, you probably never had an issue with gear because you were one of the first to get it. No one ever questioned you because at that point it would have been absurd and hypocritical.

OP, clearly you're kind of new to 50 cap. It will come, lol. I hope it doesn't, but I know it will.

As to ifrit, I haven't had a bad ifrit yet. Ifrit is too easy, and too easy to get into, for people to get mad about.

I've had AK groups that wiped, dusted themselves off, and went at it again, and I've had perfect, fast, runs where people still found something to rage about.

I filter out shouts, have a fantastic FC, and only come to the official forums these days when I'm pretty drunk, it's like visiting a zoo.

Follow these three steps and you too can have a wonderful endgame experience like me!

I started from Arcanist at advanced release and I became lv 50 on Sep 26 2013 (so basically a week ago)
I cleared story last week end did chimera 2 days ago and AK yesterday for the first time
I also got my very first piece of DL this week

so no, I absolutely did not rushed my friend. i think we can even say that I am pretty slow (only leveled 1 job from 1 to 50 since release)

I only use DF even though I have FC/LS...I don't know why. I've had nothing but good runs. I've had runs where we kept wiping but no one left and everyone kept encouraging each other and so on.

What I've learned from playing MMOs is that people will have 4000 good runs. Let something go wrong 3 times and that's all you will ever hear about.
