I love the insane requirements from parties to do end game content..

This is why having a good FC / group of friends is important. Requirements won't be nearly as unrealistic and you'll have a group equal as you that is willing to trial and error and learn together.

You can also form your own group and go from there, there will always be people out there that want to progress but are less outgoing / less motivated to form a group with the same goals as you their selves, and are more content to sit there hours on end either queing for DF or doing nothing while waiting for that shout group that sounds reasonable for once.

I like the full DL healers in Titan HM who can't proactively cast any heals. They always wait till the tumults or rock/mountain busters actually go off before begging casts. If you had the time to farm that gear, could you take the time to L2P? You are getting outplayed by an AF1 healer for gods sake.

You're missing the point. It's not that it can't be done with less, it's that darklight and +1 lets them speed through it very quickly. They want to do it as fast as possible to minimize time grinding.

I see this topic pop up a lot and don't really see the issue.

Must be a NA/EU server thing because I have never seen such on my JP realm. BUT, you really can't complain. If the group wants their group members to meet a certain criteria, then that's up to them.

You have 4 choices:
1 - Form your own group
2 - Buy it
3 - Join a similarly progressed guild who are working on Titan
4 - Bash your head against the DF wall (ill-advised)

The fight is simple and mechanics are methodical enough that it should all become muscle memory to your group within a couple hours. This is coming from someone who has done their fair share of Titan kills (relics for subclasses/selling/helping guildees) over the past 4 weeks.

Full DL and Garuda weapons is indeed ideal for downing Titan HM. It might be a bit much to ask only for people with experience in the phase after the heart, but honestly, most people are going to panic and wipe repeatedly on the last phase unless they are pro or have experienced it before and practiced a bit. People just don't want to waste their time wiping forever. Could always just lie to them. Be sure to study the fight and be sure to avoid stuff correctly, though!

FCs and their requirements is less of an interesting thing to complain about. Every FC is different. I don't have those kinds of requirements, because it's fairly obvious if you already have that stuff you have an FC right now or you're a real go-getter with them pick-up groups. It's important to be able to play properly, learn and adapt, though.

Also, hate to break it to you, but the entire relic quest, start to finish, can be done in a single day no problem. Way less than a week. Just need people properly geared and ready to dodge.

You should avoid those people anyway because they're doing CM for some crazy reason. For speed runs, you want to do Praetorium. And the reason people would have high requirements for Praetorium is because they want to finish it in 20-25 minutes to spam it quickly for many ATP. You could fault them for that, I guess, but the reality is they're going for speed. Sure you can beat it with full AF, people who watch CSes, blah blah, but they ain't looking for a clear. They are looking for as many clears in a short of a time as possible. Why beat it once in 1-2 hours when you could beat it 2-6 times in the same period of time?

Not true on both account.

I got Omnilex (SCH relic) from a DF Titan, I wasn't in full DL but I wasn't lv 45 gear. I am also not a terrible player, not saying you are mind you.

Just that a lot of people think full DL makes up for skill.

Working on my Curtana now ^^, just need Garuda and Titan!

I just wish they'd use the player search instead of spamming the shout channel for hours on end for a 'quick run'. Its just ugh. Spammy and it intimidates people into thinking they have to be #1 all day everyday to even get a glance at the 'endgame'.

I was in full AK gear and lv55 relic-quest bow and beat Titan hm from solo DF just 2 weeks ago.

The only different is my DF always end up with full of J players.

The irony is that in the time they spend looking for people who fill their criteria they probably could've got through 1-2 runs already if they just took anyone.

I have absolutely no issue with some PT shouts requiring Relic +7/10 DL or even AF2/Allagan for CM/AK and HM Primal runs.

If you're not geared for it, then sorry you don't get to participate yet, form your own PT of players that don't have that ilvl of gear yet and enjoy the game at your level of progression.

It may be considered elitist too many, but if you're geared this well already, we've run those instance dozens upon dozens of times already; its boring, especially CM! We want it to go by as fast as possible, earn our tomestones and move on. Players that aren't quite geared to run this fast or don't know what mobs to skip and how, it slow the PT down, cause more fights and are basically being carried and not doing their full potential.

• When I first got to 50, running CM required 2 tanks and it was 45+ min runs, now it only takes me and some damn good DPS/Healers, and we finish in about 22min.
• Garuda HM also took 2 tanks, now its yet again only me, I have no problem holding both Garuda and one of the sisters when required. I have the gear for it, which allows one more DPS to join and with the right PT we can kill her in less than 5min, {best last night was 4:37}
• Amdapor Keep was also similar, gosh I can't recall how many times we wiped on the Demon Wall with everyone learning the ground effects pattern, and having enough DPS/LB to kill the bees, etc etc. Frack that, now we just ignore the bees if it even gets thats far, most times we kill the Demon Wall near the end of the 2nd round before the bees even spawn.

If its so bad that players that are further advanced and better geared than you want to do things with similarly geared players for exceptionally fast runs, then by all means add us to your /Blacklist so you don't have to see the requests.
