Huh? If you can make gil it means the economy needs you to function. The difference between you and crafters is that a crafter's personal service is required to attach materia to gear. What you do in that cycle is to provide the crafter the mats to perform the assimilation.

I don't think it is reasonable to assume that DoW and DoM should be required to see gatherer directly to be able to see crafter directly to be able to attach materia. Even now I would say that the DoW/M or crafter shouldn't have to be always there when you want a materia attached. Your services are needed because without them DoW and DoM can't attach materia to their equipment. But why must this involve DoH or DoL directly is what I don't understand? Do you not feel like you are contributing unless there is a direct trade between you and the customer? The marketplace is your means to provide for the economy and thus community. The communication does not have to be direct for you to be valuable.

It seems that what you want is something for you to be able to contribute to your LS directly. Now you are doing it indirectly. I can see where you are coming from, but do not think that because such activities don't exist that you would be useless. What I also hope for is that SE works on content that lets gatherers help their Linkshell directly, but it's not like you are neglected just because such activity currently doesnt' exist. You are still providing for your Linkshell nonetheless.

I could sell them at 1 gil and make a profit. Catalysts are free.

The problem is there is 0 effort to getting them. I have to turn off Fingerprints of the Gods when I want to gather something other than catalysts. I don't understand why they had to make them so easy to get.

That's not true. There is an hour's worth of effort to obtain 3 stacks of catalysts. The price on the Marketplace represents the effort required to gather them. If they were sold for 1 gil, it would not be worth DoL's time to gather them and as such the supply would dry while the demand stays the same, raising prices again.

The catalysts cost on the marketplace according to as much as it takes effort to obtain them. Otherwise DoL wouldn't bother.

First off not going to fully translate this one since it’s minor stuff but basic info is as following.

Should start a new thread for this one if there isn’t any if you guys have any ideas/suggestions to improve the My Page feature on the lodestone.

JP side has a thread going asking if its possible to include a clear time ranking feature showing who cleared what content first etc for each server.

Post after Crucis replied to the Rep saying, you guys already show our names in Grand Company Heroes list so don’t see any problem or are there actually people that don’t like having their name displayed even on there?

Plus FFXI did it (not who was first, but clear time including the party leader name) so it was something I hoped they actually brought back when they started introducing Dungeons and Arena style fights.
