Sell Fantasia on the Mogstation

I'm saving one of the two I had, in case I cannot get another one in case they announce a new race at some point, just in case I want to switch.

but, it takes so long to put a potion in mogstation -.-

Definately sell the potion on MS thats a great idea! Bring in name change too!!

It'd be cooler if instead of having to pay real money, they sell it in-game for a set number of Philos and Myths combined with a cap of 1 in your inventory at a time and a monthly cooldown. I'd grind for that so I can get out of this elezen skin

20 bucks is like an hour's pay in today's economy. It's not that much. It's easy to drop a hundred bucks or so on gaming per month if you are into cosmetics and add-ons and immersion, as well as options.

I hate P2W, but the games I play are wonderful in that you can buy cosmetic skins and options without effecting game-play balance. Give me those options and you'll usually make plenty of money off me. As long as my bills are paid, I drop a bit on virtual MMO entertainment on a weekly basis.

The dev's didn't offer it because changing your race /actually/ had some from of impact on your stats, where-as in XIV it's complete negligible.
They made a concious decision it was a service they didn't feel they wanted to offer for FFXI.

You might have been living in a cave, but they're two completely different games, with two completely different development teams, with two completely different outlooks/thoughts on what they want to do with their games.


$20 / £15 is virtually nothing, it's such a small amount of money for a service like this, it also gives them a higher profit margin at the end of the day which (as you may know) leads to more content. So yes, i'm willing to fork over money, it's an optional service.

The chances however...

you know...at first i was fine with my character the first phantasia i used...

but now i want to change to a lalafell. i'm not sure if i would be able to qualify for item recovery, but if they sold phantasia on the mog station...

You only qualify if it was used in the last 10 days.

This isn't true, they ask you to state when the item was lost/consumed and I told them over a month ago. I had my fantasia restored within 6 days of filing the ticket. Others have had similar experiences as well.

I've asked 5 times now, each response has been '10 days or less', it even says it in the FAQ for Phial of Fantasia restorations.
So it's at least partially true on that account.

I'd show you an image of the GMs response, but the last post I did that with the image was removed because it showed an inconsistencies.

I got mine and I was about a month over.
I think it depends on which GM you get.

So the moderators or GM's deleted my post showing their response to me.
But I was told no, and even when I presented that you and someone else had one, they still said no.


So it must've been a one off thing.

I'm going to hope that they announce another Fantasia when they announce the new Veteran Rewards. Any idea when this is?

I don't want to see people changing every week and whatnot, but if they do, whatever. I won't be too affected. And, truth be told, I'd like to edit my character easily if the impulse consumes me, especially if more races or factions ever come. Hey, on other games, I'd create an alt for the aesthetic changes I want, but since one character can do everything, I'd rather stick with one character. So, I don't see the harm.

Got my item restore, took about 2 weeks and I just did make the 10 day thing by a few hours. So there may be some hope in getting it done that way. Still bumpity bump bump.

I would had tried that if it wasn't already a month since I found out about that method.

I was so happy to see the fantasia sitting in my mailbox the other day. The only advice I can give to those seeking to have it restored is to keep your message brief, polite, and clear as to what you want.

How do you apply for a restore? I'm going to try it out even if it fails. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Sorry for the late reply, had to log on to the game to explain it better. :D

Press Esc to go to System Menu > Support Desk > click "Search Database" (you can leave the field empty) > click "Support Team"

From there I set Question 1 as "In-Game" and Question 2 as "Game Master Services"

Maybe that's where I went wrong?

Mine was usually two paragraphs, but i've sent at least 5-6 tickets now, i'm un-sure as to whether it'd work now.

But I was told firmly multiple times it was a log-keeping restriction and not on a 'we want to' basis.

Seems odd that they'll restore gear from 2-3 months ago, but not a simple potion, they're clearly telling porkies.

Yeah, I basically did same thing Nikita. Granted I was still within the 10 day mark by just a few hours. They sent me an email rather quickly but over all I contacted them three times throughout the "investigation" and I don't know exactly what day it was sent to me since I was out of town, but I got in about two weeks.

Just basically told them that I received and used my potion on x date and would like to claim my 1 time item restore. Then the follow up emails just said I was checking in and that they could reach me x times ... so oddly enough they sent it to me on the times I told them I'd be un reachable.

I need fantasia potion please ..
