Need this for male Roe pls

Wow they are everything I thought they would be...
100% boring. Elezen with bunny ears is exactly what we needed to add some race variety. They will just disappear into the crowd of scantily clad girls with animal ears we already live in.

"Taro also said that NieR: Automata protagonist 2B’s design wasn’t meant to be very sexy at first, however when he received the original designs he told the 3D modelers to make her butt as perfect as they possibly could, otherwise they’d be fired. So naturally they went above and beyond making a wonderful buttocks."
my fantasia is ready
Sure, if they let me play as a male Viera.
I am quite surprised how lovely the Viera look. I would love to have played a Elezen but their run animation is not for me.
I am glad they look so elegant and really feminine. I will give it a go but I would have to get used to being so tall, first impressions though they are really nice and have fabulous hair ^O^
Give me male viera and i may consider it. otherwise, no, absolutely not.
I have several fantasias ready but only for Male Viera :/
Boycotting the race if it's gender locked. I had two characters I wanted to Fantasia into bunny boys at least temporarily, and two ladies I'd have at least checked out as bunnies. If it's gender locked that's several fanatasias SE's losing out on, and I'm sure I'm not the only one
hey so cool viera trailer but uh.. there better be male viera what the heck. This would totally be a step backwards after they went through the trouble of adding male Roe and Miqote..

I hope there are male viera, they way they’ve been keeping them out feels like unneeded jerking of the fan chain at best. And if they are not included entirely that’s a way worse thing altogether.

What if we got a male only Ronso race just like the leaked said? I personally would gladly trade male Viera with these cool looking beast men.
Wouldnt Male Ronso make you want female Ronso as well? While they do exist in FFX, I dont see why we cant have Male Viera (if you compare it).
I just dont like this half/half thing. I dont pay the sub for now 5 years to be overly excited for things and see them crushed within minutes.
NVM. I just saw the actual video. I'll most likely be switching ;)
While I do like the general idea of Ronso, they would have to be heavily modified versions of the original Ronso characters if we want them to be playable for lore reasons. They are just what you described: Beast men, and would be categorized by Limsa, Ul Dah and Gridania as such, making them a beast tribe. I don't see why Ronso would get a free pass while the Lupin from Doma won't. In the end it doesn't matter what they do, if they add Ronso, the females will be getting a 100% faithful concept of Viera ported to XIV's universe, while the males will get a heavily modified highlander/miqo'te hybrid called "Ronso" just because. And if that's the case, just give us the male Viera that according to the concept art, already have the build of a highlander with bunny ears anyways.
I actually don't know if I'll be switching anymore. To me, a gender locked race is nothing more than an eyesore, regardless of how "pretty" or "customizable" they are.
On the other hand, if they want to break the record of "most awkward gathering of thousands of people" and "most people walking out of a room following a major disappointment" that was set by BLU, then sure: announce that Viera will be gender locked to female. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of the playerbase, male and female, would rather see male and female Viera than "uwu waifu" female-only Viera and burly beastly male-only Ronso.
Male viera or riot.
I don't know why we'd get Ronso. They look more like a beast tribe than anything. If we're going to get a beast race then why would it be some random race from a nearly 20 year old game without any kind of precedent in XIV universe? Surely it's more likely to be something that's already in-game. (i.e. Lupin)
yes, I will become 2Bunny
I want 2 but im conflicted on that or being a snakey type
I just can't understand the statement gender lock as bad thing sorry. I played in XI and 1.0 and this issue never bothered me. I just can't understand how a new race or another race can bother you when you're already a player and you're playing right now with your character. Fantasy always had races wich one sex dominant. Blizzard can fuck up their Lore in order to satisfy his playerbase because Blizard doesn't care about lore at all nowadays. But I think SE would first think in the Lore.
And, if you need to be a male viera and only that bothers you about whole game. I feel pitty you really. In other hand, among shame you have luck. Male viera exist. And if they does not mentioned any type of gender lock nowadays I'm almost sure Vieras can be male. there is male viera clans in FFXII, and they announced two clans in last fan fest if I remember right. So its obvious and settles discussion. As for me, personally I would maintained Mi'qotes and Roes, and now Vieras gender locked, but having a few NPCs with oposite sext to show that exclusivity in his races. Like male gerudos in The Legend of Zelda.
PD: Now i want to be a Male Bangaa.
<3 They're as perfect as I imagined, but if we don't see some boys Imma be really mad.
no males, no fantasia. very disappointed so far.
i think i will change into them but i want to get my hands on it,
they are well designed, though i am sad no Smoll anthropomorphic bunny race
not a fan of no tails though.
i am more happy they don't share frans' face and can have differentt and more appealing looks. (before anyone asks i wasn't a big fran fan from ff12)
Ill wait with my decision until benchmark release when we can create one.
No, it hits on the post, because you say you would have left miqo'te and roe gender locked. Of course it doesn't bother you that they would only be playable by half the human race each because it's not the one you are playing. It's the classic it doesn't affect me so it's fine syndrome.
