Anything you wanna know in particular?
The 6th Astral gets a massive, 11-page writeup (basically a summary of 1.x), and then also a detailed, 7-page timeline. The 4th Astral gets a few paragraphs - basically, it was a sort of Dark Ages, where technology and science were shunned (with Allag being taught as a cautionary myth, hence the later assumption that it was naught more than a metaphor for hubris as opposed to a real civilization). The Eorzean alphabet originated here as a means to restrict information flow to the clergy, keeping the population illiterate.
Is there any info on the fairy that appears when using angel feathers(sch lb3). I am curious since I haven't seen a quest reference her.
The First Umbral Era section, which introduces the idea of Astral and Umbral Eras, describes the latter as "short, yet harrowing"; the Second Umbral era is the most specific, saying that lightning razed the land "for a full twelvemoon and a day" (although it's a bit hard to tell if that's the whole of the Era, or just the duration of its Calamity). For the most part, the other Umbral Eras are described in broad terms like "moons" and "years".
Actually, the section for each Job details their LB3 as one of their Tricks of the Trade. Scholar's seems to indicate that it's just the usual faerie that executes LB3. From the book:

Well, the areas where the guilds are located are detailed in the section on each city, and the guild leaders all get write ups as well, and between the two some background info and origins of each Class is present. So it's not like there's nothing, they just don't get their own special multi-page section.
