What NEW races would you like to see?

+1 for Viera; I think they'd fit snugly into FFXIV's art style~

They have to be given killer heels, though. '-';

How can everyone be happy of getting more races with expansions? o.O
This is not a mmo that requires multiple characters, actually you are penalized for having more than one, so what are you gonna do if in, let's say, 3 years from now we get a race that you like much better than your current one? are you gonna reroll? or are we gonna be allowed to use some kind of "body switching" system? o.O

i guess SE would have to remove the fee for having an extra character or giving you the option to re-do your races/apparence for a one time fee.

I would love to see some classic FFXII (Ivalise) races brought into the mix. :)

i would be happy just to see them in game.

Let's keep it real people... you will never be able to play a beastman (bangaa included) in ff as a main character. How about Padjal? they are already in game.

I see what you mean, but can't disagree enough. How many complaints for masculinity have there already been on the forums? I don't think adding more feminine-like males to Eorzea actually benefits anybodies tastes as far as PC options goes. Not to mention 60% of Hyurs already look like Bieber.

Just to narrow in-- Elezens males aren't feminine enough to fit that bill? What is missing-- Non-local colors? Mascara? They are tall and posed. But this is the first time I've seen anyone claim they are actually muscular. Heck no. They are the thin and agile male archetype.

Male mi'qotes being some kind of agile feminine males? I don't know how anyone could feel that's what's missing in the diversity of XIV. What I mean is, there is already a general overlay of softness to all characters. From what I see on the forums, most people would like to peel that away rather than pile it on.

It's just an idea, but if we're saying Square's willing to let us rename and re-gender our characters since they are adding new ones, they could kill two birds with one stone and apply those race-changes to the already established sub-races that lack any real differences from their counterparts. Change the Sea Wolf models to the new Ronso's. Give the Plain Mi'qotes bunny ears instead of cat ears and make them taller. Make one of the lalafels Moogle'ish. And so on. It's awesome either way. But it could get pretty convoluted by just throwing out more races with their own sub races. Just a suggestion.

Well, i think it would be great to see some spoiler pics of the Male Miqo'te and female Roegadyn, i wouldnt expect screen shots, but some art would be great!!! It would suck to start over, but when male miqo'te come out....im totaly onboard!

I'm down with the addition of Roegadyn girls. I could use a Roegadyn girlfriend. All the other chicks /panic when I try and talk to them.
