They said they're looking into making /changepose persistent so its possibly they could do this as well

I'd like a "clear" option that deselects all the classes/job. Similar to party finder.

Seems you fell for the same mistake I did but I just tested it. Wearing the new iLvl 70 needle, I equipped a freshly made HQ velveteen doublet of gathering (I'll give it to one of my retainers to wear after their venture finishes) and it appeared as a green dot, despite its significantly lower iLvl of 32. This indicates that the spirit binding colour coding theory is correct.

Please allow us FC leaders to assign BOTH a Rank and a Title. This make things so much easier to assign specific roles even amongst officers so everyone can understand where to go for what.

On the map, when you hover over the FATE icon, it would be nice to see the completion bar (or a completion percentage number) in addition to the timer. Running halfway across the map to arrive just as the FATE is finishing gets old pretty quickly.

In the activity section of the FC screen, have gardening activity show up only if you select Gardening from the drop down menu. Even a small house with only one garden patch has so much gardening activity that it completely fills the activity log, blocking out all but the most recent other activity. The All option in the drop down menu should essentially be All (except Gardening).

Not a huge deal, since plants can't be over-tended, but I'm really not a fan of non-FC people being able to tend plants. Stay off my lawn!! *shakes cane*

Can be done, just like animus books make one for Atma's. That book UI and idea is nice and you only get to see them after clearing the atma part and purchasing your first book, that UI alone made me happy that this game has much more possibility for future contents, ways to show new stuff like this. I was thinking due to the PS3 memory limitations they can't do much more on the UI but left enough memory to put in these stuff and that was surprising.

I believe this suggestion will be a tall order but here goes. Maybe they should allow us to summon our retainer into battle like our Chocobo companion, but I am not sure on the details to make it work. I was thinking venture coins but think those cost too much Company Seals for people to care about wasting them to use their retainer as a battle companions.
