For the 100000000000000000th time...no you are not allowed to disclose any information on whether you got an invite or not. Read the full NDA - no loopholes exist anywhere for any kind of distribution of information regarding your entry/application/acceptance/invite to alpha testing. At all. Lady luck is a fickle lady - who knows when devs decide enoughs enough and kicks you? You can never tell.

2.6 Alpha Tester’s Confidentiality Obligations

“Confidential Information” shall mean (a) any and all information relating to or contained in the Products, Software, Documentation, or other materials supplied to Alpha Tester by Company in connection with the Alpha Testing, including, without limitation, information relating to the performance, conditions, capabilities, and contents of the Products and Software, methods of reporting and conducting, modification schedule, modification process and its progress in the Alpha Testing, AND RECIPIENT’S FEEDBACK, OPINIONS, SUGGESTIONS, AND COMMENTS (POSITIVE AND/OR NEGATIVE) REGARDING THE PRODUCT AND THE SOFTWARE, (b) the existence and the terms of this Agreement, (c) the Square Enix ID and password used by Alpha Tester, or by any other Alpha Tester, (d) THE IDENTITY OF ALPHA TESTER AND THE FACT THAT ALPHA TESTER IS PARTICIPATING IN THE ALPHA TEST, and (e) any and all information relating to the future or proposed products, services, or business operations of Company. Confidential Information includes, without limitation, all such information disclosed to Alpha Tester prior to the execution of this Agreement. Alpha Tester acknowledges and agrees that the Confidential Information constitutes valuable trade secrets of Company and (subject to the other terms of this Section 2.6) agrees to keep Confidential all Confidential Information, and only use Confidential Information in connection with Alpha Tester’s participation in the Alpha Test. Alpha Tester shall not disclose, publish, distribute, transmit, post, or otherwise make available, directly or indirectly, any Confidential Information to Others.

In fact, what we can discuss was also detailed in the NDA:

• Suggestions with no relation to alpha testing for which we believe will contribute to A Realm Reborn

as limited by the agreement of the alpha.

I apologise for always needing to bring it up, but spreading false knowledge on the forums as well as clearly breaking NDA on SE's own turf (official forums) is by far the worse choice.

Not sure if they aldready sent the invites, no news on EN or JP twitter.

hmmm where that post about Yoshi saying is ok to tell others about you being in alpha.. :\

Yoshi himself has breached the NDA contract... He said us he's in Alpha, and even show us footages from it!

So from the sound of it either the NA Twitter was a typo or the invites have not gone out yet?

what time is it now for you?

Around 9 am on the 6th

The past invites were sent at 3 AM GMT, but maybe this time is different from the others, since on the NA twitter it says 6/12 and JP 7/12.

It won't be the 7th in Japan until another 40 minutes so it is possible they haven't gone out yet.

I was up all night waiting for the E-mail & post on sending emails and SE will continue to disappoint its loyal fans. NA community team went back into there bear caves.

As originally mentioned by others the JP twitter shows the 7th, EN twitter post is most likely an error and they haven't fixed it.
Previous alpha invitations were sent out same day as JP but at midnight-1AM (PST)

Look forward to JP twitter account announcement tonight then check your e-mail around that time :)

thats the thing though, the western audience has their own respective twitter's, we should, theoretically, be able to check our own languages twitter to receive information. We shouldn't have to follow the jp twitter, Thank god google chrome does the community managers job for them i guess.

I keep looking at all my games. L4D? Meh, only fun on SGC servers. Planetside? I'm too much of a spaz to actually hit anything. TF2? Mario Kart servers... GW2 is boring, no friends on Eve to play with, ZombiU is too bloody scary and no one wants to play Nintendoland with me.

Those are my excuses. The real reason I don't want to play any games is because I just miss XIV so much. I need to fish ;_;.
