I mean, if people don't want to spend their hard earned cash on games that have been DEI altered games, that should be our right. And if we want to inform other people about it, there shouldn't be anything wrong with it.
After all, if you're a fan of it. You can use that very same list as a recommendation list for your next purchase. I see nothing wrong there.

But Sweet Baby Inc the company themselves, literally went out of their way to start a harassment campaign against the person who started the curator list that did exactly that. Nothing more, nothing less.

Saying "But bla bla did much worse!" is all nice and well, and possibly true? But I doubt anyone of us in here are involved in that. And is a case completely separated from this.

Because the creator of the curator group has in no way participated in that. He has been trying hard to keep the forums clean, and even removed the forums all together to save the curator list itself.

As how riveting (its not) this SBI and GG2 talk is - people should probably realize that if Grummz is one of your vocal leaders of the movement, its most likely a grift.

On Wuk Lamat's voice, its serviceable but not my cup of tea. The VA has hot and cold moments where the cold are freezing and the hot lock in the role well; I would like to see more in DT to see if it is an issue of first time the role or if something more that needs to be reviewed (the characterization for Wuk Lamat coming off immediately more comedic takes me a bit too much out of them being a serious plot moving character.).

The saddest part about how People see DEI, is that they think it's forcing people to hire people for their otherness. Where it's specifically keeping them from not getting a job based on their otherness which has been applied to them by individuals who actively are bigoted and are using their positions to gate keep others from getting into fields they're interested in.


What no one wants to realize is that DEI wouldn't exist if people would keep their personal feelings out of their work, out of politics, and out of business. It's that simple. You want DEI gone so bad? Create a world where people can't be discriminated against when they're obviously perfect for the position. Make a world where people aren't judged for the skin, sexuality, or religion.

Like it's tiring that DEI, wokeness and anyform of none whiteness being the default is now just seen as this invasive plan to push an agenda. Like have ya'll ever thought that a lot of us are just tired of being treated different for who we are and just wanna have a fun job and thats it? Oh wait the laws we had to put into place to make people not judge us at the drop of a hat is now wrong because, it now collars people who would just say no even if you had the talent of experience baseline.

All I wanted to do was come somewhere because I felt the lines were off, the accent felt forced, and saw others had the same opinion.

I did not expect how bad this thread would be. Didn't even know she was trans when I first heard her lines...

But it definitely does seem some people have an issue with her just because she is trans. Others don't like the voice because of the voice. And it's just a mess.

Good point, Personally for me it was more how they've conducted themselves over these last months and for people who are anti-DEI that should be the primary attack vector rather than the perceived quality of the games they've worked on because that gets messy and subjective.

It wouldn't matter, there is legit a thread a day about this company on the Steam forums for BG3 because folks are convinced somehow this group worked on that (successful) game despite there not being any actual evidence. The closest they got was some reference to WoTC, and since Larian got the licensing from WoTC, obviously SBI personally wrote the entire game and held Larian hostage until they agreed to include 'wokeness' - whatever that even means.

The whole thing with SBI is absurd and transparent.
