Final fight too hard?

When a game gets too hard for me... I turn it off... sell/trade it... and play another game that I enjoy...

I'm a happy gamer...


The way some of the users go on in this game I wonder if they lose sleep over such things???

I only tried it once, get to 2nd phase, survived Megaflare, nearly killed him, then Meteor smashed down again. Then server congestion, congestion, congestion, congestion...

Just completed the final fight - got it on the 4th attempt.

Really it's just a matter of practice makes perfect, and being able to learn from your mistakes.

Very fun fight - can't wait to see more like it in 2.0!

What the fight is not hard. Why do you want a game to be easy mode? Dont you want a challenge? Do you want everything handed to you? Take your time and learn the fight. I know plenty of casuals who have done this fight, the issue I see is some players dont want to do anything other than have things handed to them on a silver platter. When you are doing content pay attention to what is going on and discuss with the group you are in about whatever it is you are doing. It isnt hard to figure out just take your time. There is no reason for players to jump on the forums and complain that content is too hard other than a very few exceptions. Now considering that this content just came out on wednesday and some1 or some players are already complaining, tells me that you havent taken the time to actually learn a strat for the fight. Also consider you stated that you or they wiped 10 times, you really havent tried hard enough. Its like riding a bike, if you fall off get back up on try again, but giving up after 10 or 15 tries and than complaining it is too hard is not the answer.

I still need 9k seals to do my last promotion....no one is doing Caravan either T-T.

You don't need to be a Lieutenant to do the Legatus battle.

I think almost everyone here would be pissed if it was. This is the final fight for the 7th Umbral Storyline, not some walk through the park for you to calmly enjoy. It's meant to be hard, it's meant to require strategy and it's meant to kick your ass if you don't use any strategy.

Also, it's been stated that the 7th Umbral Event storyline is for CURRENT players. If a few schmucks come in and decide they don't like the fight because it doesn't hold their hand, then I don't want them in my game to begin with.

Also, your definition of "Casual" insults me, and probably quite a few other people around here. Where, ANYWHERE, does it say Casuals don't want/enjoy fights that require practice, strategy and a good team?

You're making too many assumptions to build up a failing argument and honestly, if the game were to fail, it would be because of misguided people like you.

Agreed, I'm a casual player and I'm insulted by it. I found the fight exhilarating hell I even went in with a couple of ls members who had already beat him. We still wiped a about 3-4 times even with knowing the strategy. I loved it. It reminded me of when jobs came out and the group that I was in kept wiping trying to figure out how to beat batraal's uglier cousin barbados. Even with that I loved it and kept saying lets go back in. I loved both of these fights and I think tomorrow if anyone else needs help in my ls I might join them tonight I'm just too tired since it's almost 2 am. You and your friends need to keep trying not complain that it's too hard because you get your asses handed to you a few times.

Finally Defeated Darnus!! :D So happy!! :D, After Battle CS's were epic give me the chills and the thrill of Victory!

Oh really? Swanky.

Its not too hard if you have enough cooperation. Darnus needs to me moved to the same place by the tank every time, and the mages need to stay in the safe zone.
