All I have to say about that is there is a reason my HNM LS kept their own tracker and didn't bother with any of the public ones. Additionally staying ahead of the curve for various other gil making schemes helped as well along with being about to do things like solo most of the NM's in places like sky just to sell off spawn items to end game LS'es was a bit lucrative as well.

Actually now that I've said all that I wouldn't mind it here. I feel like this game actually lacks gil sinks to pull gil out of circulation. We need more expensive things to feed to NPC's! :P

That was absolutely one of the worst things about FFXI. I'd rather not have things like needing 1mil gil to buy an item just to Dynamis or in ffxiv's case, Eureka. I also hated the fact that because it cost 1mil gil to go to Dynamis you were not allowed to roll on the currency because the Dynamis Linkshell you went with sold the currency to pay to go to Dynamis thus only allowing rich players and Gil Buys the ability to have a relic.

I could partly see having the Relic tied to eureka 2.0 as either an option /alternative or you have to do a certain amount in 5.0. As well as probably fewer zones of the new eureka but larger with more content to do in it and not this barren wasteland of level downs, /walk , and instantly dying when you go down a tight area and they just so happen to turn on you as you are trying to run to a newly spawned NM that got early pulled. Bring back some of relic farming to the old content, but add in some options to do it in eureka too. I'd love the option to chose between the two in some way. Between eureka and the old way, and maybe a new way in whatever fashion they make the new content. They could also make some of the items you get in eureka be sold for part of the relic, kinda like logos. Since you had to buy stuff for HW and ARR parts iirc. unless you crafted yourself.

To be honest, I always hated relic farming in HW and ARR. it was my most hated form of content that I didn't even complete one in HW until SB. It took too much time and was quite boring. My efforts normally wane after 2 weeks on that sorta stuff as well. Especially when it requires certain fates. By the end of this expansion, I'll probably have 4 weapons completed, depending on how hard this final part is per weapon. That's mostly because I prefer doing pyros eureka more than doing expert roulette for my tomes.

Also reminds me, they need to fix how hunts work. More like ixion too. hunts are dead content quite fast. Hunt ls's are pretty unreliable. Would be interesting if hunts made a "roar" in the zone or something to let you know it spawned that are A rank or above.

Well received xD we all know the truth. People just go in because Emotes, relics, mounts and glamours are locked behind it.

Can we please not have Eureka.
