Letter from the Producer, XXIII (01/23/2012)

man... some of you guys in here I hope you guys are just joking

I don't see nothing wrong with YoshiP posting a blog like post in his PLetter shows us people who care about him and dev team that there is other stuff going on aside from the game. YoshiP had to get to hospital at times and you guys bitching about him not posting anything regarding the game???

He's been doing fine till now with all the game updates/information pretty damn sure he will continue to do so and deliver us all the good info.

I've seen other game sites do similar posts aside from their own regular game updates and I welcome those as well as I enjoy reading them.

For you guys bitching about this PLetter I really hope you guys are just joking or you guys really need to get a life.

I don't think White Knight is the correct term anymore in this thread. It's more like White Banshees. Mean spirited women, who have long forgotten what was actually said and rain vengance upon anyone who says anything slightly negative about Yoshi-P.

Nope because people would STILL complain. LOL That's pretty much what I believe and I "think" others defending Yoshi are saying is some ways as well. ;) They have already done this or that to keep the rage down but it seems no matter what they do, Yoshi and the team still get bashed. *shrug* Great example of this is a reply Bayohne gave to a thread and he was fu*cking BASHED for the reply he gave lmfao! And after he was bashed, he replied, "Note to self, do not reply again" or something to that effect. Sad really and tbh more pathetic in all honesty. Tell me would YOU still talk to people if every time you attempted to help them all they did was give you grief?

Oh please, it's more like people forget that producer letters are his letters even though he still has to be supervised on what gets written at times.

I better not go to any other MMO forum and see a community rep or dev act human.

Well I hope that Yoshi is feeling better... I agree it's not worth him going into the hospital or killing himself over a game. I am patient enough to wait if things are a little delayed as far as updates go, I mean I have already been playing since closed beta so obviously I'm fine. LOL

and I also agree, I love seeing a personal letter from him now and then. It shows that he's not all business, and that he cares about the fans and wants to let us into their world. I love that he shows us whats going on behind the scenes.






He is the Producer and this is his letter, if he want's to talk about it raining he can. I wish people would have a bit more compassion for the people working their butts off to make this game what it is. What they do is a lot of hard work, long hours, little sleep and then all they get are people complaining and whining about silly things.

this right here, very very sorry ..specially if i come off as a dochebag for saying it but i can care less bout yoshi or the dev teams life in or out of game creation. fact i don't read the full pages they use and call newpaper herald either. if you want to say we getting new choco armor that is all i need to read and see a pic. if even. not full page of reading about it in some elegant fancy story, put that stuff in the game with full blown cinematics and then i can cheer about it.

all i really want to see is progress and up coming add ins for the game, every letter seems to start of with how he is sick or getting over a sickness lol. but that being said i still think they are over worked and i do care for them as people and think we are all screwed by corporate world lmao. but other then that they are still a company and i don't need to hear it from them unless they are on strike or something and need me to go pickit with them. i don't need to be reading yoshi p blogs.

Though I do think Yoshi-P should put this stuff on a personal blog, the fact he's sharing a Japanese custom with the non-Japanese amongst the rest of us is pretty cool and more importantly, it's still his letter at the end of the day so he does have every right to write in it what he wants, not what we want or don't want.

No, I would not. See, I'm one of those rare instances of a person that has patience for a game known to be in development. Have I ever posted about things taking too long for this game? No, I'm of the persuasion to tell people yea, you have to wait, as the process they are undertaking to correct the game is a lengthy one. Expecting patches or large wall o' text updates every month simply isn't feasible, especially when the patches we are receiving are simply band-aids & small content; as the bulk of the work lies in a new server structure & game engine (not to mention map redesigns, and other such things.) But there are certainly folks here with the "gimme nao!" mentality.

Why is this thread so full of mad??? I personally wanted to see how Komoto and Matsui were doing since the 1.20 Live broadcast.
