Easy way to stop people from whining that they got something in roulette they didn't want and for you to kick them? Once you've been kicked/have left the duty, your roulette is used up. That's it. Wait til tomorrow for your extra tomes. Don't like it? Oh well. Pull on your big kid pants and deal with it. Might suck for the people who 90k and get kicked, but the overall "wah wah I don't like that there's a new person in this Sastasha normal run kick me!!" is freaking stupid. Implement it, watch the "kick me" rate drop, don't say anything when you remove it. Sure it'll get figured out eventually, but then just re-implement it without saying anything when it gets bad again. :/

this is assuming ppl wont abuse/troll this system causing ppl to lose bonus for the LoLs. maybe a better approach would be that while in a run where you qualify for roulette bonus, leaving gives you the option of taking your penalty OR forfeiting your bonus for the day

Which is dumb as all get out because ffs, if you're running something and you don't like it, that's not your parties fault. That's what the rng picked for you. I don't like it when I get Qarn HM but I run it because you know what? The sooner it's over, the sooner I get my tomes and can move on.

I like that idea even more than my own, yes. It's hard to discourage things without penalty which is headwall-inducing tbh.

a dungeon ppl dont exactly like is not the only reason that exists where ppl dont want to be in a duty though. you have to look at the bigger picture

Well sure. It could be a lot of things. I went into a Sohm Al where someone didn't like the healer for whatever reason and threw a fit. I think he was pulling a huge amount, healer couldn't heal the tank, so he tantrum'd it up. New people in Ravana NM, we wiped once because a couple new people couldn't keep up, half the party left (no ask for kicks at least.) If there's a legit reason, sure. But if there's tantrum throwing, then no.

mhm with you 100%. i dont agree with tantrums. i'll be the first to offer advice and last to leave when progress is struggling. i just also understand sometimes ppls reasons for wanting to leave arent so bad. maybe someone got stuck with someone they dont exactly get along with on server. or earlier in the thread someone said a run took longer than expected and was late for raid. giving someone the option to leave peacefully with out making them feel stagnate on progress may make ppl more open to leave on their own terms. choosing the lesser of 2 evils according to their own needs

Nope, I can agree with "Myself and person don't get along, kick me so they can have their run in peace please" or "crap I didn't realize it was this time, can you kick me out of party because I need to pick my mom up from the airport" are actual reasons. It's when there's tantrums and whining I roll my eyes at.

If people are worried about using up their own ability to kick people why not let the person who wants to leave use their own vote dismiss on themselves to get out of the dungeon? Simply have it on the same four hour cool down. Unless you want to have control over someone else cool down as well. They are still giving up their ability to kick someone and will face a penalty afterwards if they leave withing that four hour period.

i dont see why they cant do this. saves a lot of grief and only has the same potential for abuse as any other persons 4hr timer. pretty good idea
