that's basically what i'm using right now. i swap BfB and IR order for 9 skill bfb, and then i swap legsweep and geirskogul around, since getting legsweep off cooldown earlier is better i think, mainly because the 2nd combo chain won't be able to use geirskogul without draining BOTD. at my sksp (2.39) the 2nd botd lines up pretty well with a geirskogul to burn the duration, then BOTD to refresh and get 4th hit
i wish i could get the 4th hit after FT buffed with xpot etc, but it doesnt seem possible
at the end of the day is this weird random back/side proc thing worth the extra dps?
So whereas we used to do two TTT per IDC, now we do one each time? Or did I get that wrong?
Just a Random thought that I had, I'm trying to figure out the point where it wouldn't be a DPS loss to skip 4th hit if you aren't able, due to mechanics, hit your target from the proper position. Assuming the standard GCD of 2.5, the PPS of proced FC/WT from the proper position is 116, the next hits would be either Heavy Thrust or Phleblotomize, Heavy thrust (from the flank) and phleb's PPS is 68, You would have to hold 4th hit for 6 seconds before it has less PPS. This of course, does not account for the DPS loss from HT/Phleb/Dis/CT falling off, not even sure how I would calculate that, Perhaps someone smarter than I would care to take a stab at this?
Though I suppose in this situation, if your Proced 4th hit is fang and claw and the next step is HT, you might as well just use it while crying about the lost potency
So unless we reach massive levels of SkS, which I think is what Dervy is checking, Det/Crit will still be better as a stat - we're clipping stuff anyway. Can't really say I'm happy.
Random positioning for a 290 potency skill feels so flawed.
Clippity Clip Clip.
So, I know how F&C/WT are both random. A friend of mine tried just removing F&C from his hotbar, making WT be the one to proc 100% of the time just for the ease of using it in his rotation. Is that viable? Or do you lose something by not having both on the bar? Only thing I can think of is if there's just fights you can only get the flank with and not the rear.
