lecture me on how anyone is forced to be power leveled? LMFAO I don't get it.. I can solo to 50 if I please it may take longer but doing anything alone in any situation in real life takes longer then it would in a group.. My linkshell and many others I'm sure have been able to get a job high level in this new EXP enviroment.. if you want to be a noob and get power leveled to 50 then be my guest however don't try to spout that your forced to get plvled because on that my friend I call BS!

Why does this argument still get brought up?? It's obvious that FFXIV will not have HNM that have mini-windows, get over it already. It's not the only way to implement open world content.

You could say the same thing about raids. "Not everyone wants to spend hours and hours doing the same raids over and over again." Guess what, once you figure out a strategy for that "hard" content, it's no longer hard. It becomes a grind just like anything else.

I guess i can deal with the PL and get my gf to pl me to her level then we party together but then it would feel to slow so it better of just pl ourself to max level then really playing together in a party this is how i see the pl issue what the point in playing together in a party when you can just pl each other to max level then play together. I find level up with your friend the best way for a player to learn how to play the game.

Why not just make level sync? so i can play with all my friend in the same party? without making everyone PL each other? Seeing how this is not FFXI where you have to level up each skill like healing, your hand to hand skill and what not this wont make anyone gimp and still allow us to play together and fight together and learn together then just pl? The point is by doing this everyone going to do the quickest way because everyone else is doing it. But if you add level sync then a level 50 can help out a level 1 level up and in a way it's like pl but in a party together i can enjoy that more with friend then they just outside the party killing everything for me :(

If i read this wrong then please someone tell me what he mean.

I'm not entirely sure how your first part addresses what I said, but to answer your second half, there's a huge difference between doing the same fun thing over and over again for extensive periods of time, then there's sitting around for a few hours waiting for Leaping Lizzy and saying that your fun was greatly enhanced because it took so long for the damned thing to spawn.

I don't know about the rest of the internet, but "grinding" is still very much a negative connotation for me. If something becomes a "grind", which in my mind is a form of psychological burnout, then I move on to something more stimulating. My first scenario isn't one whereas the second one is, and at that point I'd rather be slamming my head against a brick wall, and my earlier post was pointing out that not everyone sees their sense of accomplishment coming from how many hours they spent on sometihng.

All I gotta say is... as long as we can aoe or attack a mob outside the group of mobs we are currently fighting and still receive full benefits for it I'm all for this change... otherwise this change is insignificant and doesn't combat (no pun intended) the biggest problem of the current claim system xD

Bottom line is that people don't want to see other people rank up fast and get as much R50 as they do.
Otherwise, why would you care?

If you don't like grinding, you'll just have someone PL you and make it less painful.
If you do like grinding, then you'll just do like everyone else and solo/party.

But nooo, people are too damn worried about others getting multiple 50s fast.

It's the same issue with people and the 5 min cd's on instances... people don't want others getting gear faster then them or even before them so they think they NEED to do these back to back lmao ... quoted truth, stated by numerous people upon instance release... goes hand in hand with NA players being nosey and not knowing respect/minding their own business in game or otherwise >.< This isn't going to change, it's who they are, just glad Yoshi isn't catering to these personality types :P

That's not it, you can already get r50 in under 2 weeks. Here's an example:

My ARC was r21 the same day I got r25. It took me 1 day to get to r21.

The difference? I had to level it myself, not have someone else do it for me while I sat back eating doritos.

The curve is already too fast if you ask me. Now it'll be even faster, and you don't have to do shit.

Yea, i'm sure you are like most people with only a couple hours to play during the week.
PL will make lvling faster for those who can't play 10h/day. But that still doesnt mean they will be able to get to max rank that fast, since they might want to craft or gather.

True, and I understand and respect that.

But you missed the main point of my post. It's not all about speed, it's about having someone else do all the work for you. I had to play Archer to get r50, I didn't just claim a bunch of mobs then watch someone else kill them for me.
