If only they could bring back some designs in older savages where shield can be used to avoid debuffs, single target damage on different players combined with cleave tankbuster cleave combo....

For me the best fight in the game for what I want out of an encounter for healing, damage and movement is kaliya
By far my favourite fight in the game and I desperately wished we got another one like it

Thanks for joining my fanclub. Tip for you, on the forums here and in real life, people are allowed to have different opinions than you. Not really sure why opinions on ARR healing mechanics are the thing you want to be rude about, but I hope that helps you grow as a person.
Nobody is advocating for the shield snapshots to be as slow as they were back in ARR/HW.
They want the actual boss encounters to have more dynamic mechanics/damage distribution again so you can't just look at a flowchart to know exactly when to use all of your cooldowns.
The main reason older fights were good and newer fights are rarely good is because older fights required you to perform your role.
Tanks had adds pick up or they had to swap for mechanics.
Healers rarely got targeted by any mechanics but they had to ensure the survival of the team as they handled the mechanics.
DPS had to deal damage the best they can while handling mechanics that may or may not force them to disengage from the boss.
Newer fights just have every role do the same dance and anyone who fails a dance step will wipe the raid. Hardly a fun time.
What fights? I distinctly remember having more mechanics to deal with as a healer than the dps did, even as far back as ARR. Searing wind for example. Or we had mechanics where everyone had to do the exact same mechanic, like dive bombs on twintania. I feel that the only difference between old mechanics and new mechanics is that mechanics now are far more complicated and the game doesn't run like it's on spaghetti code anymore. The boss-designers have gotten so much better at boss designs too. No, we had to GCD heal more because we had nearly zero healing OGCD's. That was the difference. I have to say I hard disagree with that statement.
edit: Seems like you like to read what you want to read instead of the words I wrote and the words even that you wrote. I never once quoted you on job complexity, you inserted yourself into my reply. Go back and read the text, it doesn't even quote you on that because you weren't the target of that statement. The very first sentence of the post is that there were a lot of dramatic posts. I didn't single you out. Second, now you're the one arguing against things I never said. I never said healers never do anything, I never said that you said that either. If you spent just a little more time reading what is written this miscommunication wouldn't be happening Aravell because you are drawing implications from my words that I am not making towards you. just read what is written and stop filling in blanks with whatever. If you want clarification on something I said you can simply ask instead of yelling about it in capslock.
