No player is under any obligation to carry your sweaty ass to a new record time. Being greedy for a low number is still being greedy. I think you just want to normalize this kind of behaviour like some tried to normalize selling non-nightclub venues as commodations to make Gil off of other player's RP.
From Sastasha to Vanguard, my Dungeon experience has always been DPS attack after the tank attacks. And if the tank isn't upfront we wait for them. I can count on one hand when that wasn't the case. Only exception is when the tank and healer died during a pull. Everyone tries to keep the mob at bay until they are back.
Also as a DPS and a Tank I want the mob to be less not more when we hit the wall.
