Endgame content is too stressfull and difficult

I made the jump to endgame recently. I was petrified of what might happen, I am not the best of players and I don't think my fc took me seriously when I first said I wanted to get into it. But I built up my armor, practiced my Rotation, watched a guide and we went in as a fc to Titania, with a few other members who were new to Ex as well. We had a blast. Next I tried Innocence with a practice pug group and cleared it with them. Next will be Hades.

Now I know that I am a long way from end game as the Extremes I have done is old content and Savage is a step up, but isnt that the whole point, it's meant to be difficult and for me I get so much joy once I do clear I am now hooked on it. Me and a few members were so excited when we cleared Titania we were ready to move on to the next Extreme. Until we were told to hold our horses and just do a few reruns of Titania.

TLDR: the joy is in the difficulty of endgame

I dunno man, in the current Savage raids there are plenty of times where only one or two roles are handling a mechanic.
It'd go a long way if everyone had something to do more consistently.

That would make things harder most certaintly, but i think puging would become impossible ,the thing that comes to mind is gavel where to progress everyone has to do a different mech which are split into different categories depending the role ,something that existed at a time where the majority of the raiding scene was dead. difficulty is definitely a tight rope the devs have to tread carefully, and i think such a difficulty upgrade would be a repeat of the past if it came suddenly , maybe at some point the difficulty curve can allow for such fights , but as it stands people are just not good or willing enough for it and maybe they will never be.

I suppose this thread is a testament to that, huh...

If you run out of things to do and dont enjoy savage content, just dont play or take a break until new patch. Even the devs encourage casual play where you take breaks and it is visible from the design.
Savage content is meant to be challenging and it's directed towards certain type of players, if you are not that, it is ok, nobody should judge you for that. 490 gear is fairly accessible and is more than enough for current available content in the game.

No need to ruin the game for people that are interested in that kind of content just because it is not suitable for you

BiS isn't even an option in most MMOs, having to complete some fairly easy fights to get GUARANTEED BiS in 2 months tops is insanely good.

The fights aren't hard. They could be shorter with harder mechanics such as LR but any easier it would put raiders off.

Actually, the majority of players are quite helpful. Youtube is full of videos, the Balance discord exists and their are numerous class guides from high end players who put hours into them just so it could help others enjoy endgame too. If you post a legitimate question on the class section of the forums here, you'll usually get help and advice. Statics help each other. FC's are happy to help people willing to improve.

The issue is when you aren't willing to improve or learn and instead want the content we enjoy ripped from us and turned into something you enjoy. That's just selfish.

And it's people like you that make me question why I bother with the community anymore. Entitled and or toxic casuals take far too much from the game. People have leveled extremely fair and valid criticism towards you meanwhile you've done nothing be passive aggressive towards those same people? Savage is MEANT to be difficult and if you can't handle it and constantly complain about it, why are you doing it???? And if you think extreme is too hard please, allow me to introduce you to Heavensward EX trials, they some rivaled if not surpassed the difficulty of e7s (even though that's not saying much since e7s is one of the easiest savage fights I've ever played but hey, I like the comparison). They've made this game so much easier and accessible for the years for people like you, yet you're STILL asking for it to be babied even more?

No, they're not going to make savage easier because you're bad

And no, they're not going to make savage easier because you don't know how to DPS as a SCH.
They're not going to balance the difficulty around a game based off of a SCH who believes they don't have to DPS (or either understands that and is extremely bad at it), sorry chief. The other people aren't the issue, you are. Bottom line.
