As for the blue (blue seemed appropriate because you appear sad) Whats your point? I simply followed the pattern, pace, and example you set in your first 8 pages of post. I tolerated 8 pages of you making off topic cracks, downtalking other posters, and misc. trolling before I followed the example you set. nothing beats the glass house boy throwing stones, let me tell you.

"Not better" is not the same as exclusive. It's also subjective as all hell, because at the end of the day there is such a thing as best in slot. Unless, of course, both open world and instanced offer gear that is identical (like what they did with Leaping Lizzy/Valkurm Emperor in FFXI).

I asked if you are satisfied with open world content being copied in an instanced fashion for people who want to do it that way.

I can't answer for them but I'll say what I think.

Nope.

nor would I want clones of instanced content becoming open world content, we want unique experiences not cloned ones so everyone can "Have it their way" This isn't Burger King.

Its exactly the same as your claiming that 4 to 1 want nothing but instanced raids out of a specifically condition question. Following your example, I must now debate the similarties in my answer to that of your question for 4 pages.

So what do we get from Yoshida's note?

A) He recognizes that modern players do not want claim wars.
B) An instanced can be tailored to challenge a party the whole way through. (Obviously once the game engine and server structure are corrected).
C) That this is the opinion of an overwhelming majority.

There is plenty to do in the open world. Leveling, gathering, crafting, questing, NMs, leves and seasonal events.

XIV needs to adapt or die. Instances will help it adapt. Question 10 proves that people will not pay good money to sit through claim wars. No one wants to be handed anything. They just want to actually play the game they sit down to play when they have time to.

Lets take your imiaginative dream here as an example. Lets hypothetically say 75% of all paying players want 100% instanced. A person would have to be a complete moron to assume to tell us SE would eleminate 25% of there clients. It shouldn't be that dificult to make open world and instanced content of equavilent and comparible difficulty, with equavilent and comparible rewards.
